Electro fishing

Here is a video of our team electrofishing. They make it look so easy.
We conducted our annual electrofishing survey and Johnson and Slide Brooks at Nash Stream Forest today. Folks on the crew are amazing, thoughtful, hard-working people. Volunteers from the Ammonoosuc Chapter and Basil Woods Chapter of Trout Unlimited, students from White Mountains Community College, and staff from NH Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, NH Department of Environmental Services and NH Fish and Game Department. This research has shown the great value of wood in streams. More wood = more and bigger brook trout.
