Happy New Year Sarah, after everything you went through in 2024 I hope 2025 is a wonderful year. I'm am glad you enjoyed we solve murders. I love his Thursday murder club but this new book has mixed reviews. I should be reading it in February. As a fellow cross stitcher I always enjoy seeing your projects. TFS 😊
I think it's kind of cool that there are different Nancy's for different generations - keeps her going. You've got me even more excited to read We Solve Murders than I was already. You got a lot done on your cross-stitch!
So sorry to hear that the vlog export went kaboom. So frustrating when that happens! I recently started using CapCut for editing and found it much faster on exports than the others I used, plus it has a lot of functionality for a free software. It took a bit to get used to, but all new software does. Always happy to see your videos & and continually impressed that you change things up to match up what works for you. Love that! Happy reading!
Hi Sarah, happy new year! I read "yellow spine" Nancy Drew as a kid and just read this week The Mystery of the Fire Dragon, no 38 in that line. I believe Nancy is 18 in most of the yellow spine ones. She does get kidnapped briefly in the one I read...she whips out her lipstick and writes SOS on the window. 😂 So it's all pretty gentle. That Teri Wilson series looks so good!
That is great!!! I wish I could knit, I could never get the hang of it. I can crochet. The Nancy Drew Casefiles book came out the year my sister was born. Lol!! Let's just say I was 3 year old. I was wondering if you had ever heard of the author Lurlene Mcdaniel her books came out in the eighties, I read them as a teenager in the nineties
Hi Sarah, The Baby Sitters Club made me a reader but sadly I've aged out of it. I've never really been interested in Nancy Drew. Mystery is a tough genre for me as an anxiety suffer .I'm trying to figure out what I like. I've really been enjoying the Aggie Morton Mystery Queen and The Pennyfoot Hotel series. As for romance I can't read anything set in Texas. My trips to visit family were not good experiences. Currently I'm reading Innkeepers Daughter for your book club and enjoying it.
Thanks for sharing your reads! I'm more eager to read We Solve Murders. My first book of the year was The Temporary Roomie by Sarah Adams. Unfortunately it was kind of a dud for me. I gave it 3 stars on goodreads but really its ore 2.5. The fmc was so irritating.
Have you read Mystery Club books (by Fiona Kelly)? I'm the same age as you and we probably were not in that age anymore when those came out in the 90's. I thought I might buy some for my neese, but I think I'm going to read one and see if they are any good 😄
Wow! You made great progress with your cross-stitch and your knitting! Your yarns are always so beautiful! 👏🏻 Hope all goes well at the hospital. ❤ 🙏🏻
Thank you!
Ramble away! I love your rambles! I love your daily short vlogs! I don't have a lot of time in my day, so short is good.
Thank you!

Yes I read those books... all the teens were very sick if I remember correctly.

I just finished reading The Nutcracker by Alexandre Dumas. It was good. 3.5 *

I have never heard of those books.
The Nancy Drew from the 1930s is 17.
Thank you!
It just makes you feel better. You look great.😊
😊 thank you
Id rather do weekly reading updates rather than doing a whole week vlog. Its so much easier. I will probably do a vlog once a month.
That's a great idea!
Glad you enjoyed We Solve Murders. I did too!
Thank you!
