Like the Cains quest iv known about the race for a while but never sew or heard much about it. Actually know Rob Gardner from team Main hes won it at least a couple times i think. Use to race against Rob and team Main when i raced XC. Great guy anyway very cool to watch something on Cains quest instead of the same old races. Great episode Thanks Jeff.
Looks like a "fun" race, but man I hate it when people try to compare this race to the Iron Dog Race in Alaska. The proof alone is that teams in Cains Quest are actually racing and trying to compete with their Yamaha's and Arctic Cat's, let alone people in Cains Quest trying to race with C&A skis lol. Not being biased, but Yamaha's and Arctic Cat's - no matter how much money you put into them they just dont compete or place against Polaris and Skidoo at all in the pro class.. hence why no one race's them in Alaska. Cain's Quest looks like an amusing and fun race where every team pulls into a check point as though they've won the race and everyone get a 1st place trophy 😄
What are you on with. Cains quest is over 3000 kilometres in some of the toughest terrain in the world. Most of the racers have to make their own track to get the each checkpoint. Also when it comes to the types of machines they’re riding it’s most racers are riding ski-doos, even then it’s not the machine that makes the race it’s the riders. And no they don’t just put c&a skis on there machines they they put on a good few thousand dollars in parts to make sure there machines can make it through the long days and nights there out in the wilderness. In my opinion cains quest is better than the iron dog
