How to Keep A Spiral Coil from Unraveling in your Planner

At the Quilter's Planner, we love a spiral binding! A spiral coil allows the pages to be opened a full 360 degrees, so it's easy to use.
Sometimes at the manufacturer, the coil may be slightly bent, but not completely tucked over the previous coil. Over time, your coil may spin, and the coil might slip out of the top and bottom holes. But there's an easy way to keep this from happening!

💗😊💕Noice! Thanks sweet sister, I was about to cut those meddlesome tips (I was worried that the coil would uncoil from the paper, as I did this on a previous notebook). I listened to the little inspiration that told me to check you tube, and you had the perfect answer for this tiny irritation, I’ve been having to deal with. I tried it and it works perfectly, no more bunched papers as I turn the pages, and no more sharp metal poking me. I used pliers. Have a terrific day💕😊💗

Hello... If I may, I would like to give you a hint to what I do for my spiral binding. I get a Fuse Bead (the kind of plastic bead where you make a picture and then melt it together. It's a kid's craft item) put hot glue on the inside and then slip it on the top and bottom end of the spirals. It works like a charm!

I have a spiral bound rulebook for a game... the ends aren't long enough to fold over the next loop. I'm trying to figure out how to secure it. I have read people hot gluing a bead to the end, but I ain't buying a hot glue gun for this one job. The spiral is plastic. Ugh.
