The best Lex Luthor comic ever. Luthor doesn't want to kill Superman. He wants humanity to not be reliable on him. Superman is the ultimate glass ceiling that humans will never break. Like how poor people and barley functional working class can't reach Luthor. It's a great dichotomy with this angle
This is my favorite, too. Something left out, and I think for good reason, of this comic -> Lex grew up poor but he doesn't treat himself as an elite. In the beginning of this comic he finds a place for a LexCorp janitor's son at an elite school. Comics don't always translate well into audiobooks. So I have to pick and choose which parts make it in and it bothered me cutting that. But I'm convinced that Lex loves humanity and that is his motivation.
I'm probably going to do the origins of the Dark Knights first. I already have some of that VA put together. Depending on how it goes will determine the full run. That's a really big run, too. And IIRC it veers off into lots of side stories.
I would do anything for more Lex Luthor audiobook comics
I like how this story gives us a good look at how Lex views Superman 0:47 as if he's just an inhuman monster with the power to destroy the world
I'm really convinced Lex is not a villain.
