I've played IDU for over 2 years, Ive never ever seen that many enemies populate an area. At one point I thought the game was broken, theres only so many enemies in a level, seems the majority all spawned there. I know you lost some health, but Really well done getting past that lot.
My personal best is Gabriel 6. Not nearly as far as the true masters of this game, but I am pretty ok up to that point :) thanks for stopping by and for the kind words!
You wanted to explain what mistake you made at the beginning of the game but then got distracted. I am still curious. What was the mistake? I saw of course that you got overwhelmed, but that was due to wanting the orphan, right? So what should you have done differently?
I watched it back and didn't see where I mentioned the mistake. If you can give me a timestamp I can check and see if I remember what I was thinking in that moment. Mainly, the mistakes I made that cost me the most damage was being too aggressive in some places. I usually play more aggressively when I am making videos so I don't have long periods without action. If I were on 'my own time' I would have been more careful in some of the more dangerous areas.
@@Rico.at.50 Sorry, it wasn't so much at the beginning of the game, but more in the middle. At 15:45 you start to mention a reason for going into the room with the orphan (continuing at 16:27 - saying "first of all"). You get distracted and never mention any other reason. At 18:43 you talk about the "horrible decisions" you made. I wondered what you meant or thought you should have done differently. Thank you!
@@NicolesVideoCorner Well, generally my I am just voicing a stream of consciousness lol, I am not sure - but I think I was saying that the reason I leeroyed the orphan was because starting in Cycle 6 I won't be so aggressively chasing them. Cycle 5 is really the last one where getting hit once it worth the orphan points. The mistakes I made were strictly due to my aggressive play, which is how I typically play when recording so that you all don't get bored when I spend 10 minutes picking off a single mob or something. I think that's as close as we'll get to figuring out what I was thinking in that moment.
@@Rico.at.50 Thanks for clarifying. Concerning this: "that you all don't get bored when I spend 10 minutes picking off a single mob" - i would actually be interested to see how you would do that. 😁 (as i am at my second season and have never made it past cycle 2 so far). I understand your worries that this might be a bit boring to watch, but maybe you could record a game you play by yourself and just public this part as tutorial. Just an idea. 😊 Thank you for sharing, always like to watch your uploads.
Getting blood in cycle five is not going to happen. The Abyss will not be much better either. Cycle 6 is a little more productive but hits cost a lot of life. Chin up you got this.
Hopefully I'll be able to recover some. I usually have much better luck avoiding damage and recovering in the Abyss, so I should be somewhat more stable when I get to Purgatory 6.

Thanks! Yeah, I was surprised at how they kept spawning and how aggressive they were too. Thanks for the kind words!
Wow you are a master!
