If you wanna make some good money on this fight, bet on Ward winning by points. He's simply to technically acute for Kovalev, he'll neturalize his biggest shots and create some good traps to win rounds. Mark my words folks!

I think he's right about the late rounds. I think the surprise waiting for Kovalev will happen very early. No not a KO, but Andre will show he's stronger when they clinch. When he pushed Kovalev back, surprise....GREAT fight 50/50 but going with my local guy...Andre Ward!!
60-40 Kovalev. I've got Ward starting slow, checking out Kovalev, having 1-3 close rounds until Ward gets busy & looking to dominate while on the backfoot 4-6. It looks like he's ahead in the 8th round, but Kovalev got enough of boxing & turns it into a streetfight, and catches him in 10th round. Ward never down, but battered & jelly legged until ref waves it off.
Could turn into a (close?) UD for either one though. Maybe Kovalev realises his chances in Oakland, and knows Ward exactly. So, he risks everything & unleashes all he got, right on the start, and actually KO's, overruns, destroys Ward in the first round. Who knows, we'll see tomorrow.
He actually get's stronger as the fight progresses.
Ward's strength and reflexes are very underrated going into this fight but Kovalev's fanbase is filled with racists anyway so it is what it is

the real truth is that most see kovalev as this big gauky awkward puncher and THAT"S a mistake to think that.
that's why he's winning tomorrow cause ward underestimates kovalevs fundamental skills.
Ward's going to be shocked how balanced and sharp shooting kovalev is, not like those subpars in super middleweight throwing wild shots al over the place trying to catch ward adn only caugth "air". kovalev is straight in with his perfect shots.
I'm leaning towards an unconventional ud win by Kov, very similar to what your stating. This type of fight reminds me of Kov-BHop big time

Ward looked lke the one with the conditioning problem against Smith , Barrera and that other bum from Colombia. Breathing heavy after 3 rounds and shit. lol
He got knocked down and went on to win every round after 4th round. Kovalev was the one who was out of shape clearly, otherwise he would have kO'd ward.

Pat Diaz ward took kov to school it was a boxing lesson kovalevs punches didn't have anything on them there was just nothing there from kovalev it's as though he just cuddnt pull the trigger he got beat to the punch, ward's power punches to the body zapped kovalevs power kovalev looked confused like a dear caught in the headlights...and please that second round knock down was nothing it was more of a slip than anything andre just lost his balance a bit that's all
