Also notice that Himeno's little comment about going to jail if you had sex with a minor came right after Denji said he wanted to bone Makima. Meaning she wouldn't have been against Makima getting jailed for kiddie diddling.
I don't think throwing makima into jail is that easy... she isn't your average joe

@@aSSGoblin1488 I actually watched the episode with a friend of mine and he got massively pissed because Denji did't get laid. I wanted to send him a box of cola-flavored chupa chups, but the retailer has run out of them.

Its the Gun Devil attacking them. That's how they got guns. And I think he gave those Devils some of his flesh which is why they are so powerful.
Himeno's death scene is one of the saddest death scenes in anime. the fact what we just survived, befriended her, went trough all of that seeing her flaws and all (tbg subs could do bit better job transtaling some of the interactions in the episode(s)), how she tries to save one thing she cares for, slowly disappearing, part by part...

It's crazy to think that we've seen these guys having strong devilish power, yet simply killed by guns.
I was legit not okay after this episode.

I don't know, man. For me that was the moment when it got weird. Denji is a cartoon character that got murdered and brought back to life by a half-dog, half-chainsaw devil which also gave him super powers. I wasn't bothered all that much in the previous episode, because he was more of a fictional character, audience stand-it etc, but when she said out loud that he's a minor and she could go to jail for having sex with him - that's when it became more "real". I'm not saying that's bad, because I really enjoy processing a complicated ethical scenario, but "thank you" was the last thing I'd say while reacting to that scene. xD
Oh, and btw... What a rolercoster of an episode, right?! I went into this series totally blind (I just knew there's a lot of "edgy" topics, and a character named Power is fun) so when they offed Makima, and the others I had to pick up my jaw off the floor. I barely stopped myself from torrenting the manga to avoid waiting a whole week for some answers!

I don't think Makima and Denji are dead. Makima is resurrected with her ability, and Denji is revived with her power pulling her string. But Himeno wouldn't be saved.😢

There is nothing dumber and worse than a worthless death. And Himeno sacrificed herself in vain because it was completely useless. And it pisses me off so much! But I hope this is not the end of this character. They have to resurrect Makima and Denji, so maybe Himeno too. It makes no sense if she's already dead, it's too soon for that. He's too important a character to just die. But I haven't read the manga so maybe I won't see she again.
I mean it's kind of like the early seasons of Game of Thrones, it's trying to be realistic and in the real world death doesn't care about where you are in your character arc.
Alex, Fujimoto (the author of CHAINSAW MAN) much like with Isayama (author of Attack on Titan) share the same energy as ending prologues and blasting it off with the most unexpected way/s possible. They don't know how to hold back. The REAL CHAINSAW MAN begins now.
