Hi Lee. I really enjoyed the video and the simplicity of how it outlined the various construction steps so far and look forward to the rest in the series. My only other comment pertains to the pond floor/pad as it relates to the bottom drain. You stated that is should be level with the bottom drain flange however I have always found that having the floor of the pond with a very slight slope towards the bottom drain to be preferred. Water movement created by both the water returns and fish swimming will aid in moving the debris towards the drain as will the aerated dome, however a slight slope of the floor will assist in moving heavier waste towards the drain more efficiently.
Drum system done right is extremely effective and low maintenance. It will out perform every alternative. Keep watching the videos and thanks for the feedback. Absolutely loads of information in the up coming videos.
Cracking video Lee JWG very informative and graphical . 👍 But also love the way that you stated that most ponds are over engineer and seems like they took out a Mortgage to build it. 😂 Still a cracking vid tho. 👍
