Thank you for this! You are absolutely correct about how it is for us up here in Canada. Where I am, there are no more churches meeting, and most haven't met for over a year, now. Do whatever it takes to keep meeting for as long as you can.
@@KootenaiChurch thanks. We are starting to network and hoping to have a church plant eventually. Until then, there is nothing. Just watching UA-cam livestreams.
I have to ask: Is Kootenai really a place I would not want to move to? My wife and I are looking to move from southern Calif and finding a solid reformed church is our #1 criteria. We found out about your church from Justin Peters. We have been watching on UA-cam.
Hi Brian, the statements by Pastor Jim about not moving here were totally a joke and not to be taken seriously. Sorry if that was not evident from the stream, as you couldn't hear the congregation laughing. This is a wonderful place to live and the more Christian's here the better!
first off nice teaching on the faithfulness of the Lord. What you are teaching here however is not sound. Church is becoming the most detrimental place to go. And you have just paved the way for to make it harder for people to leave when they see the manipulating, crippling, binding nature of the false teachers. Binding people to the church. Fellowship of the saints is a more close relationship which happens more in private. Neighbors, at work, school, acquaintance, believers. This has nothing to do with the "church" you are making it out to be. I see you have done your research. I think you have a hidden agenda for interpreting the way you have. Petty you started nicely and now have enlarged the hell hole pit called church to cripple the believers. Thanks man, great job. maybe you should go sell mattresses. Btw Paul was left all alone, forsaken by all...... be ready. Jesus come quickly pls. bb
Speaking for myself, I for one will be happy and humbled to stand next to Saint Paul and Pastor Jim before our King Jesus. Think you need to take a close look at what the Gospel means - its good news! The bad news is we have all sinned and deserve the wrath to come. But Jesus the messiah died for our sins, was buried, and then raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and right now is seated at the Father's right hand. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." Amen! Thank you, Pastor!
If you liked this sermon, just wait till the next one: The Approaching Day (Hebrews 10:24-25)
