Do you know what that strobe light on the bottom of the station signs is for? Last time I rode DART (which was a few years ago), the light would flash when the “arriving” announcement was played, but it doesn’t seem to do that here.
Mai Ki Hah, I know! Amazing to see how determined he was to get the bike on, but so willing to part with it when it wouldn't fit. I'm assuming he was aiming for the C car which would have fit, but the doors started to close. Oh well! Probably another 10 or so more bikes littered around his stop anyways!!
Watching this video two years later. I see the title has changed to reflect a certain somebody, and that certain somebody is still hilarious as heck! By the way. Did the city get a new bicycle?
If you're referring to the rentals, the city council banned all rideshare scooters and bikes in early 2020 I believe... I'm torn, because I had a lot of fun on them, and I'd always put them somewhere polite, but obviously most people wouldn't. Thanks for sticking around!
@@NTxRE it's my pleasure. I enjoy your videos very much. Thank you very much for taking the time to go out and film. Also, if I may make a request. Would you be able to record full Driver's View rides on DART's Blue Line (Full Ride)?
I'll see what I can do... Generally, the operators aren't a huge fan of me filming through the front window. That's the only reason I haven't done it. But I'm sure i can find an operator who is friendly enough to let me do it.
The PA chime is similar to the Windows 7 Notification 1 sound.
correct. the PA system runs on windows 2000.
They use Spillman for those sounds.
And The PA System Runs On Windows 98

I believe it is for the arrival announcement... I would imagine it was broken on this unit. I didn't even notice!

If unable to do driver's view, passenger view is okay.
