You have done all you could Matt. Time to let others take over. I was a rail rider myself, Limey Pete. I did a lot. Last trip was three months, and I slept out every night. I thought I knew it all until I saw Hobo Shoestrings videos. There is still a chance . . .

Shoestring is a survivor....He lived with nothing for 30 years. That fact gives me hope. The fact his Meds, Phone & Hat were all found in his apartment, concern me the most.

I'm still praying that he's found sooner rather than later. The latest update iv'e heard was that first responders are searching on land but now it's gotten more concerning because a recent post stated that they were starting to get boats out to search on bodies of water. We should all pray and keep our fingers crossed our hoping that when they find him they find him alive.
⭐Maybe he has passed away inside a train car? Can the train cars be checked somehow? He always picked a car with those circular holes to ride in. God bless you Mr. Shoestring. 💕

Well here's my two cents worth the back door was unlocked in the front door was locked, all is secure their for hopping on a ride was there he didn't take it with him anywhere I think he went out the back door went down to the lake probably went out on the dock got confused or something happened and he ended up in the lake so sad ending but but sometimes you have to deal with reality I don't think at this point in time you're going to find him wandering around anywhere

What trains were in the area around time he went missing that he could have caught. Check their routes and cars. If anybody could survive for days in the wild it would be Mark. He is good at hiding, traveling and surviving.

Shoestring is such a good soul, his videos bring joy to so many people,what is pissing me off so much that supposed his health insurance was taken from him and that is why he left the hospital,he was afraid he couldn’t afford his stay . Leaving the hospital , diagnosed with hallucinations and altered mental state on the 27th of march. Not looking good, I've watched him when he had 2000 followers, or there abouts
There’s a video on a UA-cam channel called Kent Kruger titled”HOBO SHOESTRING started the conflict” where some guys rambles on about him for about a half hour. The video came out about a month ago and this guy sounds like he could be someone who sounds suspicious.
Very worried about Mark... Love his work, he is a plethora of knowledge and history of railroading. Praying for his safety and the ones that are looking for him. 🙏
I live in the real world and this guy is dead. My guess is he is at the bottom of that lake behind his apartment. Everyone knows him where he lives and if he were alive he would have turned up . When he got home from the hospital he called his mother and perhaps his sister too. They immediately got in a car and drove to his apartment. The only open door was the glass slider to the deck that overlooks that lake. He has made videos rafting in that lake. He must have said something disturbing to his family for them to immediately go to him. This is a very sad story that will unfortunately have a sad ending. I hope that I am wrong and they find him alive but too much time has passed and he would have been seen by someone. Too many people in that area know who he is. He went out that slider and into that lake. Nothing else makes any sense to me. His neighbors doorbell cam got him going into his apartment around 3 am but never saw him leave the apartment. What a shame . My thoughts and prayers to his family .

There is a lot of dumb speculation going on with some of it almost laughable if it weren't so serious. Like ----- he relapsed and is hiding out smoking meth . He is wandering around in the woods somewhere . He's in a mental ward .He caught a train . Really ? Without anything but the clothes on his back ? The real info that we have before us say otherwise and it does not look good for him. He would have turned up by now. No meds no money no food no water no coat and it is still cold outside.. 🙏🙏🙏
