I think it’s great that you include fresh fragrances in a date video - most reviewers just do sweet/bold & loud in these types of videos… same for winter videos, but there are still times in winter when you want/need to wear fresh

How come you never talk about the Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum. It's by far my favorite of the le male line. Still love the original, but Le Parfum is something else. Gets me compliments in University and on dates.

Mercedes Benz Club BLACK smells almost identical to Herod to my nose. I also own Spicebomb and Spicebomb extreme and Rich Warch Addictive by Zara, but MBC BLACK strikes the closest resemblence to Herod in my opinion
I totally agree on Roja Elysium, I’m super picky when it comes to my husbands fresh frag,they all smell so basic and I don’t like most of them, but Elysium is absolutely perfect. It’s like an upgrade from Bleu de Chanel and more unique. I do love Bleu de Chanel too though. Great picks.
BDC EDP everyday for me. Wife loves it and I've gotten more complements on it from women and men then anything else I've worn. 7-8 hours on my skin. Pushes off of me for several hours then within arms length from there.

I have every single one of these frags and most I've had for a few years or more. I have to say Dior homme intense is by far the most seductive and inviting of the lineup and is a top 3 favorite for me, and my collection is fairly large and diverse. Ultra Male is also one that gets a TON of compliments, guys want to know so they can go buy it for themselves and girls seem to notice this one a lot more than just about any other in my collection. I think 540 Extrait gets the most attention though and is my personal favorite. One that's not on the list that is incredible and women freaking love it because its a vanilla bomb is Club Black from Mercedes Benz. Yes a car brand fragrance...shit you not. I used to think its a was an online troll or fragrance community joke too until i bought a bottle for the hell of it just to see what all the fuss was about...instantly became one of my all time favorites and my everyday fall fragrance. This bad boy shines bright in cool but not cold weather. Its vanilla is unbelievably high quality and its so comforting and cozy smelling that people cant get enough of. I had a girl in hy-vee follow me through the isles once sniffing around trying to find out who was wearing it. the minuet she zeroed in on me she came over and asked what I was wearing so she could go get it for her boyfriend right away lol.

Didnt know about this chick until just now. Tried Herod couple weeks ago alobg with a few others. Didnt like layton which everyone seems to like but Herod... my fucking goodness that scent is lovely. If it wasnt for the price id pick one up then and there. Will have to wait. But at some point Im getting one. Has a gourmand quality to it sweet chocolatey sexyness in a bottle. If u havrnt already get ya nose on it!
Got a baby collection, but here's what I go for usually: For going out for something active, concert, bar, dancing, etc. I like JPG Ultramale. For more relax dates where I still go outside, say à cute speakeasy bar, jazz club or even riding around town, I'll usually go with Pure Havane. For cozy dates inside, I use By the Fireplace. I haven't noticed a clear trend with day dates yet, I usually go with the vibe. Boss bottled is just my dumb reach, but I'll go for L'Homme libre YSL or Trussardi Riflesso, depending on the woman, the activity and how I feel. I usually like some type of sweetness, unless maybe it's a hot day and I'm on a picnic. I'd like to get my nose on Artisan Pure, it seems fresh, but with a gourmand creaminess, and Toy Boy for the rose (flowery notes for men intrigue me).
As far as a date goes what are yours or anyone else's opinion on PDM Pegasus and Initios Absolute Aphrodisiac for a date? I love both of these fragrances, but my thought is that they can be pretty strong fragrances and maybe to much for a date. A ladies opinion on this is golden.
By the way the nose of all 3 d'elmars is Mark Buxton. So there you go... wish you could talk about them in a clip they are unisex but for me sweet temptation is the most wearable for a woman. And no wonder Le Male is a masterpiece, the nose is Francis Kurdijan. :)
Yes finally, someone else noticed the negative dry down of Sauvage, I thought I was crazy that it got weird after about 3 hours, like it was too musky. I've come to trust your nose, I blind bought two fragrances you recommended to me a while back in comments and they were both amazing (Layton and Boss Bottled Intense), thanks!
If I may through in my 2 cents as a man who, no flex, got a lot positive attention over the last decades when it came to fragrances. Two basic rules every man should consider. 1) get yourself 1-3 fragrances (1x going out 1x summer 1x winter - not more, less is better: very important: look for fragrances that are not common or well-known and make them your own signature! Your fragrances will become special and connected to you as a person. Ppl will love it. 2) DON’T EVER TELL ANYONE WHAT FRAGRANES YOU OWN! You are welcome!
I sometimes steal some of my dad’s fragrances because i really do believe a lot of them can be unisex. He has a great collection and i love ‘em all, But my fav has to be Dior Fahrenheit even after all these years; It may trigger my migraines but it’s just so lovely, I’ve practically grown up w/ it! :) It’s an old one but truly a great one at that imho.
Interesting list of fragrances. I know you're collaborating with another company and this is why I personally think you should make a men's fragrance, you have a pretty good idea what smells sexy on a man.

Yeah I too don't go on dates, in fact I've only been on one. These are very different to what I prefer. My preferences are COMME des GARCONS 2, Azzaro Hot Pepper, Montale Black AOUD, Jaguar OUD for men.
warning to anyone who might read this. Careful with recommendations. Stuff gets reformulated like spicebomb extreme.. It doesn't have the type of spices it used to have and is kind of weak. It's certainly not powerful like everyone is saying. Maybe that's only in the USA.. no idea.

Cremo, Spice and Vanilla is rated as similar for 1/6 the cost!!! I've purchased 3 of their colognes in the last 3 days and they are all fantastic. @ 20 bucks a 3.4oz bottle??
@@northcackalacky4694 Yeah to me that would probably be the best way to go. Spicebomb has a little more spices like a cumin'ish aspect.. The cremo to me is more vanilla focused... but for 20 bucks it's a no brainer.. I can't even say spicebomb extreme is better performing than the Cremo anymore.

I love to go back and watch some of your old stuff and I would like to put out there I’ve had my Herod (your recommendation), since about 2020 and mine smells fantastic. I don’t know what it smelt like before but it’s wonderful and I feel like it’s even better than when I first bought it.
As an avid perfume lover I am, I regretfully want to convey that I don't have any UA-cam or Instagram channel regarding this, but I will here share something extremely important when it comes to fragrances. 1.As I stumbled upon this video on my free Sunday evening I'd want to say whatever this kind lady is conveying maybe true but that in her case and encounters. Every individual is different and when it comes to women it becomes more true, Thus she will have a completely different fragrance preferences. So don't follow this advice with eyes closed. And same goes in case of men. 2. Eyesight and smell complements eachother, thus your looks decide your fragrance upto 70%, if you're in a well fitted suit going to some aristocrat's gathering or party your perfume should complements your attire and smell should be rich and subtle, strong Musk generally favoured in most cases of different wavelengths. 3. When you're in your casuals that denims than loose shirts or Tee's etc. You wanna go to fresh side like Cool Water types. 4. Simply buying anything that any certain UA-camr suggest is not in your best interest, go out try your fragrance and very important find a deodorant to supplement your perfume, as it will boost the fragrance for longer duration. 5.While hunting for your perfume do take couple of fresh coffee beans and after every trial of perfume sniff it, as it will increase the resistance of brain to differentiate between perfume from 4 fragrance to 10-15 fragrances. 6.Lastly whatever she said here may fit with many so do follow her advice if it's working for you, "though it's very variable and unsure" but hunt your fragrance based upon your looks you carry and based upon your personality, don't chase the rat race, take it from a fragrance lover. P.S. Remember, These views are her's and the women she talked to (whom you don't know or saw) recommended and your aren't going to take them out on a date. 👍

My friends wife told me yesterday when she smelled some of my decanted travel BDC that it was dangerous. She also thinks men's fragrances are superior to women's.
I knew Herod waa going to make it on the list. Also if anyone is looking for an alternative to Herod. Devine Vanilla by Essential Parfums, which is made by the same perfumer. A bargain Niche.
Hi Demi, that is a nice review. I personally use Blue de Chanel for summer and spring on day and night ocassions, Gucci Guilty basically in any season, Tom Ford Noir Extreme in the winter and late fall, especially in night ocassions, and D&G Light Blue Intense in the summer during day 😊 I believe it is a nice combo 😅
What I like about the chanel is that it smells sweet at first but after the first hour turns into this very musky masculine smell that lasts literally all day.
One hour before a date use CDN intense perfume...opening is super bad, and you might not like it on yourself, but the scent buble you'll create will be 🌜🔥🔥🔥🌛 my friend 🙂, I don't know what is it, but you'll smell like the superior money.

I have not yet tried most of them, but I own Sauvage EDT. I wear it typically to go to the mall or to run errands, and although it gets me TONS of compliments , I would never use it on a date. I find it very overpowering specially when I have to smell it on myself for so many hours, it gets to a point where it becomes nauseating. You've got to employ strict trigger discipline with this one, use it sparsely and in open space settings. Not a date fragrance at all.

Best colognes are at Bath and Body Works where they can smell just as good for a fraction of the price compared to some of these "higher end" ones.

Herod smells nice, but my favorite PDM fragrance is Pegasus. I'm not a fan of Layton, it smells like Vick's to me.

If I may through in my 2 cents as a man who, no flex, got a lot positive attention over the last decades when it came to fragrances. Two basic rules every man should consider.
1) get yourself 1-3 fragrances (1x going out 1x summer 1x winter - not more, less is better: very important: look for fragrances that are not common or well-known and make them your own signature! Your fragrances will become special and connected to you as a person. Ppl will love it.
2) DON’T EVER TELL ANYONE WHAT FRAGRANES YOU OWN!

I sometimes steal some of my dad’s fragrances because i really do believe a lot of them can be unisex. He has a great collection and i love ‘em all, But my fav has to be Dior Fahrenheit even after all these years; It may trigger my migraines but it’s just so lovely, I’ve practically grown up w/ it! :) It’s an old one but truly a great one at that imho.

Yeah I too don't go on dates, in fact I've only been on one. These are very different to what I prefer. My preferences are COMME des GARCONS 2, Azzaro Hot Pepper, Montale Black AOUD, Jaguar OUD for men.
warning to anyone who might read this. Careful with recommendations. Stuff gets reformulated like spicebomb extreme.. It doesn't have the type of spices it used to have and is kind of weak. It's certainly not powerful like everyone is saying. Maybe that's only in the USA.. no idea.

Cremo, Spice and Vanilla is rated as similar for 1/6 the cost!!! I've purchased 3 of their colognes in the last 3 days and they are all fantastic. @ 20 bucks a 3.4oz bottle??
@@northcackalacky4694 Yeah to me that would probably be the best way to go. Spicebomb has a little more spices like a cumin'ish aspect.. The cremo to me is more vanilla focused... but for 20 bucks it's a no brainer.. I can't even say spicebomb extreme is better performing than the Cremo anymore.

I'm in the states and haven't heard of most of these, these most be really high end, the one I here the most compliments from and is affordable is Drakkar Noir.
Strange, when I smelled Dior Sauvage at the perfume counter it smelled like bug spray so I opted for Dolce Gabbana the one.

As an avid perfume lover I am, I regretfully want to convey that I don't have any UA-cam or Instagram channel regarding this, but I will here share something extremely important when it comes to fragrances.
1.As I stumbled upon this video on my free Sunday evening I'd want to say whatever this kind lady is conveying maybe true but that in her case and encounters. Every individual is different and when it comes to women it becomes more true,
Thus she will have a completely different fragrance preferences. So don't follow this advice with eyes closed. And same goes in case of men.
2. Eyesight and smell complements eachother, thus your looks decide your fragrance upto 70%, if you're in a well fitted suit going to some aristocrat's gathering or party your perfume should complements your attire and smell should be rich and subtle, strong Musk generally favoured in most cases of different wavelengths.
3. When you're in your casuals that denims than loose shirts or Tee's etc. You wanna go to fresh side like Cool Water types.
4. Simply buying anything that any certain UA-camr suggest is not in your best interest, go out try your fragrance and very important find a deodorant to supplement your perfume, as it will boost the fragrance for longer duration.
5.While hunting for your perfume do take couple of fresh coffee beans and after every trial of perfume sniff it, as it will increase the resistance of brain to differentiate between perfume from 4 fragrance to 10-15 fragrances.
6.Lastly whatever she said here may fit with many so do follow her advice if it's working for you, "though it's very variable and unsure" but hunt your fragrance based upon your looks you carry and based upon your personality, don't chase the rat race, take it from a fragrance lover.

Remember, These views are her's and the women she talked to (whom you don't know or saw) recommended and your aren't going to take them out on a date. 👍

My friends wife told me yesterday when she smelled some of my decanted travel BDC that it was dangerous. She also thinks men's fragrances are superior to women's.
I knew Herod waa going to make it on the list. Also if anyone is looking for an alternative to Herod. Devine Vanilla by Essential Parfums, which is made by the same perfumer. A bargain Niche.

I personally use Blue de Chanel for summer and spring on day and night ocassions, Gucci Guilty basically in any season, Tom Ford Noir Extreme in the winter and late fall, especially in night ocassions, and D&G Light Blue Intense in the summer during day 😊 I believe it is a nice combo 😅

I just ordered a big bottle of Herod and I am expecting it within the next days.
What I like about the chanel is that it smells sweet at first but after the first hour turns into this very musky masculine smell that lasts literally all day.
One hour before a date use CDN intense perfume...opening is super bad, and you might not like it on yourself, but the scent buble you'll create will be 🌜🔥🔥🔥🌛 my friend 🙂, I don't know what is it, but you'll smell like the superior money.
Let’s see a theme video challenge, 15 Frag challenge, must have two frags for each season 1 day and 1 night that’s 8 then 2 top signature scents, 2 top date night frags, that’s 12, then 3 wild cards. No more than 5! Niche house expensive fragrances. Must include 1 economy (less than $20), and have to have one that retails for over ($150) for standard size bottle (100 ml/3.4oz).
For a date I'd probably go with the BDC line, so romantic and safe too.

I have not yet tried most of them, but I own Sauvage EDT. I wear it typically to go to the mall or to run errands, and although it gets me TONS of compliments , I would never use it on a date. I find it very overpowering specially when I have to smell it on myself for so many hours, it gets to a point where it becomes nauseating.
You've got to employ strict trigger discipline with this one, use it sparsely and in open space settings. Not a date fragrance at all.

Hello demi beautiful spice bomb extreme I have it in my collection I only used it 3 weeks ago on a trip to my brother's house in America for vacations and I must tell you I love the aroma but from what I saw my girl and my sister in law I did not She liked me not at all, my sister-in-law said it smelled old and reminded her of old spice 😁😁 her olfactory perception was incredible and my girl does not like spicy fragrances at least with her I will not use it and I loved Dior I used it for the same trip However, my girl did not say anything, I understand that she likes me because she only complains when she does not like the fragrance girl 😁 greetings from the Caribbean Puerto Rico darling I liked the review and I love your accent when you speak it sounds nice 🌊🌴🏄😎🌞😁 👍💕.
