In the Bronx these guys , when they was younger used to sing on Dupree Street..hence their name....back in the day guys used to sing on street corners at night....I remember I was like five years old...great time to be growing up....PS..I’m born and raised from Brooklyn, but guys sang on the corners too...used to put me to sleep...

I met one of them at a bar on Long Island back in the early 80’s. I was in my early 20’s. He bought me a drink and we became Friends. I was with my work colleagues on a Friday after work. Our friendship was short but I remember I really admired him. I forgot which one of them it was which is haunting me. I’m 63 now. Great music
That was mime and my late husband Steve's wedding song. We met when I was 14 and were going steady at 15. he was the Love .♥️ Of My Life and I'd do it all over again in a Heartbeat♥️. He was a brittle type one diabetic, he asked me if I really wanted to be his girl being he had to take a needle for the rest of his life to stay alive, I didn't care I fell in Love ♥️ with the Man If he was still on earth we would of been together for 53 years I miss him so!!!!!!

I don't think so, they came from Jersey City. There are no originals singing with them today.
