Computers for Watchmaking

For about 20 years now, computers have been key elements used in designing watches and movements. TheWATCHES.tv interviewed a supplier providing dedicated software during the EPHJ - EPMT - SMT fair held in Geneva last week, which gathers worldwide suppliers involved in precision engineering in one location.

Immensely interesting topic, not only how computers aid the watch making process but also on the actual engineering and physics that go on to all mechanical watches; something that is sometimes overshadowed and 'hidden' for the naked eye by the increasing art that contemporary watches display.
