bolt size; ? bmw bolts are m6 or m8 ? spacers for m8 ? Impossible to get Shad to find one of these; all over Euro-Asia
Fyi - you should always use a thread locker, like Loctite blue, when installing accessories like a top case rack on a motorcycle because the vibration of the motor can loosen screws over time.
can use an 0.125" alum plate if can't find these from Shad.or piece of 1/8 steel ?
Custom plates and bolts can work you will just have to try. Good luck!
The orange screws you install to mount the top box plate to the mounting plate. Do they come with the box or with the mounting plate? I got my top box and I don’t have those screws.

I already want to say thanks for this video, this is the first one I saw for this topcase on the F750gs... I am looking for a top case for this bike and now I know how looks like on this.. Just one question about the size... And apreciate your real toughts on this... Can you use the top case riding on the street ? I mean filtering between cards ? This top case has the same size with the hands covers ? Do you think is enoght space for the day to day, save a bagpack with a lap top inside, maybe your jacket and your helmet? thanks and sorry for a lot of questions, but you are the first one showing this case on that bike.. Thanks...
I lanesplit all the time with this case.
and yes the width is less than the handle bars so you're good
And you can fit your whole backpack with laptop in there

I can put my helmet and my boss and touring suit in it. But if I do that i can no longer fit a laptop backpack

Pam got a question, did u get your top box from revzilla or twisted throttle, I'm just wondering if they send the same type of mounting plate brackets, I also have a 2019 f750gs!

Pam, l am having a had time trying to get the adapter plate that u used in your video, called twisted throttle and they told me they do not carry it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were asking where I bought the top case. The actual adapter plate for the BMW, I purchased from Shad directly if I remember correctly.
You buy the adapter plate separately

No, because those bolts from the shad top case quick release plate mounts directly to the adapter plate without needing nuts from the bottom.
