I’m confused. Why is there a border inspection between Oregon and California. I was born and raised in Oregon and never knew tbis. I have been living in Maryland for the last 25 years so maybe this is new?
The checkpoints are run by the California Department of Food and Agriculture as a way of combating invasive pests. Everytime I have been through one, they ask if I am carrying any fruits or vegetables and, when I say no, they send me on my way.

I used a GoPro mount inside on the windshield with a GoPro Hero 7. It has built in stabilization which helps reduce shake.
