Thermacell gas cartridges refill with lighter gas

Are you tired of buying the expensive disposable cartridges for your Thermacell? Or always carry a suitcase full of spare cartridges with you on holiday? Then here is the solution. By installing a valve, the Thermacell can be refilled with conventional lighter gas as often as desired. The filling takes place exactly like with a lighter.
In my experience, many other much cheaper products from well-known manufacturers also work as active ingredient plates.
The active ingredient is Allethrin, a synthetic insecticide which has a similar chemical structure to pyrethroids found in nature (for example in chrysanthemums). This substance is used in many mosquito spirals and other mosquito repellents.
Through the use of a refillable cartridge in combination with alternative active ingredient plates, the Thermacell © can be operated at approximately 0.20 € / day for 12 hours. I have not noticed any limitations in insect protection.
