The Ark has come to rest. The flood waters have receded. And God makes a new covenant with Noah that never again will the earth be destroyed by water. The sign God gave as the symbol of His covenant was the rainbow. What is a covenant? Pastor Jake shows us today what a covenant is and why it is so important. Jesus, on the night before his crucifixion, announced a new covenant between God and Man -- the blood of the perfect sacrifice. Altar sacrifices would no longer be needed or wanted by God. Jesus paid the price for us with the shedding of His blood. The sign of this new covenant with God through Jesus is the celebration of communion.
