Hello everyone, I am here just to clarify a few things, that I should've clarified earlier. First, the reason I haven't uploaded for an entire year is because, unfortunately, Frances herself hasn't recorded any music during this time. I don't know when she will either (I hope soon, I miss her sm!) but I just wanna say I haven't abandoned this channel or anything of the sort. Now, I do not read much of the comments anymore since the channel has grown so much, so fast, out of nowhere, it gets a bit harder to do so. But I realized there's a misunderstanding going on in half these comments, there are people thinking I am Frances, and I am NOT. I thought I made that clear putting in my "about" that I am only a fan, but clearly, that was a really dumb idea and I am very sorry if anyone ended up believeing I am her. That was not my intention at all and I wouldn't do something dishonest like that. Also, I do not monetize my videos, and I do not intend to. Right now, I'm going to fix some titles and descriptions because they're a mess (when I created this channel I was still learning to speak English as a second language). Your dad and my dad were born on the same day, same year, everything. My dad was a musician too he was in punk bands all his life. Sadly he died September 2018 of a heart attack brought on by excessive use of pain meds. He taught me how to play guitar and sing he was an awesome dad all my life and was always a good provider and a good person to hang around with he used to smoke pot with me and my friends when I was in my teens and let me have parties. I'm sorry you never got to truely meet your dad but I know hes up there watching over all us musicians. Maybe if you focus hard enough you'll get to talk to him like I do with my dad. Your dad and my dad were born on the same day, same year, everything. My dad was a musician too he was in punk bands all his life. Sadly he died September 2018 of a heart attack brought on by excessive use of pain meds. He taught me how to play guitar and sing he was an awesome dad all my life and was always a good provider and a good person to hang around with he used to smoke pot with me and my friends when I was in my teens and let me have parties. I'm sorry you never got to truely meet your dad but I know hes up there watching over all us musicians. Maybe if you focus hard enough you'll get to talk to him like I do with my dad. Anyways keep making music your Kurt's legacy and it's what he would have wanted. You have the voice of an angel and we all want to see you shine :) God bless you.

everybody is saying how she's "just like kurt", but in my eyes she is so much more in this performance. frances is not her dad. kurt was an extremely talented, and revolutionary musician, and i love his works, however personally i see this performance, and all of her works for that matter, as completely separate from her dad's legacy. this is frances bean cobain, not "kurt cobain's daughter". i am sure frances is extremely proud of her father's works, but it wouldn't be doing her justice by not recognising her as a completely separate, though equally staggeringly talented, musician.

He was a revolutionary musician and an icon but more than that, he was a good man.
