I was ultra pissed the Rook went out like that. He deserved at the very least a heroic death, not to be murdered in cold blood like that. And as for Crespo? I would have given him a slow and painful death for turning tail like that on Buck and Romes. If the Rook's death affected him that much, he should have resigned like Dutch did instead of enlisting to the Spartan program. He and Schein got Wakahisa, a good man, killed as well as their Captain and even Jun nearly died over his treasonous ass! And he didn't even bat an eye at spitting on the trust Alpha Nine put in him. He was too easily swayed by some asshole's words who had a personal vendetta against the UNSC and the result was very nearly the end of the S IV Program.
Rest In Peace brother. *Moment of Silence for our fallen hero* Damn, I don't know why that hit me hard in the feels man. I feel like crying to be honest. The Rookie is my 2nd favorite Halo character aside from Sierra-117, Thel, and Noble 6.
*Halo 21 shot salute* We will forever remember the Rookie in our hearts, as we did with Sgt. Johnson, Cortana and the rest of the heroes that bravely but sadly perished in the Halo universe's timeline. *salute*
So I'm pretty sure in halo 5, when playing as the chief, Linda, Fred, and kelly is our squad(for coop and story). When playing as Locke, buck, Romeo, and Jun are our squad
I think instead of Jun being the other Spartan it maybe is the girl in halo nightfall ( sorry , forgot her name), but Romeo and Buck are a very good possibility
mateuszgojski Oh for crying out loud, I don't miss him dearly as an actual character. It's somewhat saddening because he was a character we played as (who accomplished a lot through our gameplay) that died.
im 5 years late but what ever. but imagine in the new Halo Infinite game... just imagine.... if Rookie was still alive with everyone who knew him were in shock that they thought he was dead and what if Rookie just said..."I was asleep. My helmet was too tough that the bullet bounced off the back of my helmet that it made me sleep"
HaloFollower Mr follower I got some awesome news you know that at the end of the master Chief trailer when he was walking to Locke his face was orange and Locke's was blue so like Locke was normal and since cheaf was forunner he became RAMPENT!!!!!!!!!!
I'm 26 years older than you and also i know about that plus I did not mean to right chief I use a phone to do updates and it always auto corrects so go back and do what you young adults do these days
We all went through one hell of a ride the Rookie, it was an honor, and he would have made one hell of a Spartan. He will be missed ,and will always be remembered by all of us Halo fans, and will rest in peace knowing that his efforts in life were not in vain but meant something in the end. Fight on and remember his fight. The Rookie 2525~2554
Mudkip I think the same, but in the end, the less you know of a character the best some times you can relate to them, don't know how or what was he think make you think you are the one who thinks, another characters like those are the ones in games like the Elder Scroll Saga (Oblivion, Skyrim), Shepard from Mass Effect (They let you choose almost every thing from his past :P), in fact this is why some games make the plot "memory lost", the best way to make money is to make a game interesting, and to make it interesting you need a lot of things, one of them is to make contact with the player in a emotional way
Noble Six huh.. the sound of ethereal vapor. The silent ODST Rook... Man The best damn soldiers in the UNSC. But isn't there a saying about Spartan's? Spartan's don't die John... There just missing in action. As for the Rookie... It was an Oni cover up... he's not dead, Just on a long term assignment.
Why do people hate ODST so much? I mean yea it's kinda out of place with the other Halo games, but that doesn't make it bad. I mean it's my favorite Halo game, mostly cause your isolated most of the time, but still. Or is it just the die hard Master Chief fans who think every Halo game sucks unless it has him in it? I seriously hate those people, they're way too bias.
*shrugs* Yeah, I don't understand either. It kinda just was shot off to the blue, to be forgotten. To be honest, I liked walking through the isolated streets while it rains in the game. It felt like I was really alone, and trying to piece together what had happened. Who knew a halo game could give off so much atmosphere with blues in the background, Cowboy Bebop style?
AwesomeBroDude Yeah... I should probably play it again. I wonder if there's more games like it, where one moment you wonder aimlessly for a good moment, enjoying the scenery and the next you find yourself fending off hordes... Besides Fallout :P (it's either albino scorpions or legion assassins that are bullet sponges from hell)
+Vic 2_O Well it is kind of jarring how good it could have been. If they just added more to the campaign maybe going into the Halo three storyline with your squad who I liked. It would have been so cool to have your entire squad with you as you finally are able to organize a counterattack instead of running and hiding. But we never really get a level where your entire squad is fighting together. There was plenty more for them to accomplish besides saving Virgil. Especialy with all the things that happen on earth in the first missions of Halo 3. I mean it was called Halo 3 ODST but the events all happen at the same time as Halo 2. Also Mulitplayer was just a repeat of Halo 3 and not unique. So I don't think they hate what is there but hate that the things that could have made it great were left out. Like buying a book and enjoying the story until you find out that half of the pages are blank.
Infamous Greed They stopped created Spartan 2's by the time Rookie was alive. He'd become a Spartan 4 if anything, however he would be a good Spartan 2 if he could be one.
I have to call a TON of bs on what happened in the book. Romeo wasn't able to save the Rookie because there was a forcefield guarding it. A FORCEFIELD. They didn't even have the technology to have that up, so the Rookie SHOULD have lived because Romeo should have been able to snipe the person holding him hostage. Second off, YES. Let's let Mickey join the same people WHO KILLED HIS FRIEND. Why did he join them? Because he's traumatized of his death? People who want revenge don't JOIN the people who killed him, they KILL the people who did so. So Mickey's joining the Rebels MAKE ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. 343, please fire your writers. Thanks. Let's not even go in the whole Spartans are traitors crap. Yada Yada Yada. Escalation was utter crap. The book was utter crap. Gee, I think I know where this is going.
Oh, I have. I've read all the books and all the comics. My problem with Escalation, other than them being bad(the newest ones aren't too terrible) is the fact that they make the Infinity so FREAKING WEAK. You mean to tell me that a ship that can RAM and RCS and STILL have it's shields unaffected can be held up with an SDV class and what's considered to be Space Scarabs. Those PUNY ships would bugs on the Infinity's windshield. Not to mention the THOUSANDS of turrets that the dang thing has. But no, let's forget ALL that, and make the Infinity weak and pathetic to a ship that a single soldier could destroy.
And 343i is inconsistent with that. Which needs to stop. Either the Infinity needs to take on two assaults and be fine with it, or be a weak ship that gets held up by a few Liches and an SDV.
343 Takes over! Joe:Im autistic you shouldnt be asking me charlie nor am i a writer and neither are you. Charlie: Oh thanks joe for complementing my writing skills and confirming that my idea is great! Joe: Wait no! Charlie prints the book
His being a detective immediately makes me like him. It's one reason why ODST is my favorite Halo campaign. Exploring the rainy streets of New Mombasa at night while unravelling the dual mysteries of your squad's location and Sadie's story felt like a noir detective story.
mickey is a rebel, the thing they problaby set up is that romeo and buck are two of the spartan of locke team in the first cinematic of halo 2 anniversary
I think Chief might join the rebels and you'd play as Mickey becoming a spartan and joining the rebels but you'd have to revert back to basics (Heath packs, repairing armour with different pieces and scraps) while the UNSC hunt down Chief and destroy the city you're surviving in as they do so.
To the writer of new blood: the book was good, don't get me wrong. But why the fuck just kill off an awesome character that could be used in the halo universe SO MUCH MORE. And kill him in a stupid way? It's a complete waste of character. Seriously that's terrible story telling.
That's actually very good storytelling. We hate that the author killed Rookie, but his death is used as a plot device. Mickey, Buck, and Romeo became Spartans. Mickey becomes a Rebel. Dutch became a Civilian. This will only further the plot line and will create a satisfying ending.
***** You say that like we'll see these characters again. We probably won't and they are killing off characters so they don't have to deal with them anymore. Remember Black Team?
***** Yes I do, it's a shame. But I have faith that they won't kill off characters like this. We have to see them again, whether it's in game or in book. Why would they build up a story of them becoming Spartans and Rookie dying if they won't touch them?
"Y'know we *could* have The Rookie join fireteam Osiris instead of a few losers with the exception of Buck...." "But nah, let's give The Rookie a shitty death and discard him like he's nothing" -343
well the editors of the game were activision and microsoft. activision helped published the game but they were the ones who made the decision to change the story to the way it is after the lead writer of destiny left. putting destiny into a postilion were the story was pretty bad and there were many bugs to be fixed. another thing is that microsft was also an editor in this game and they should have stepped and said something about how bad the story line and organization of destiny was. thus they should have made some changes that could have not made destiny be one of the worst games to release. micorsoft also did the same thing with halo mcc (master chief collection) making halo have the worst launch on console in history. (if there is bad grammar in this rant don't kill me English is not my first language)
Transformersfan48 it was Mickey's fault he died! The rebels had rookie at gunpoint and Mickey instead of shooting the rebel threatening the rookie, ordered him to put the gun down. The rebel shot rookie instantly and then the rebel was taken out immediately after by Dutch :( at least he was avenged. Mickey defected soon after he got the Spartan 4 augmentations and was taken into custody by Buck. He's still alive, the bastard,
Transformersfan48 Yep. Mickey didnt feel comfortable shooting humans since he's been shooting aliens his whole military career. thats also one of the reasons he defected. he began to see the unsc as the bad guys.

Rookie was kinda the link to hold alpha 9 together... if the rookie wasnt there during the siege of mombasa I dont think alpha 9 would make it out alive. Dutch was too violent for his own good, Mickey was too laid back, Romeo was too ignorant, Buck was to naive and Dare was too messy and unpredictable. Rookie was calm and colective, he stayed calm even though an entire city of covenant forces were against him. The odds for the Rookie was not in his favor yet he managed to pull through. He saved Dare and Virgil. Buck only came after the two had almost made it out alive. Rookie was kind of the savior to the group as master chief was the savior of the galaxy. When the rookie died... the group couldn't maintain enough morale to keep going and kind of disbanded.

@@JayWalkZ in a book you can't just be like "he got shot." In a visual representation it's fine because that's what happens, reach was awesome because of the thought of sacrifice, new blood fuckin sucked and they knew so they killed rookie for more copies
ODST is so underrated wish they'd make an ODST 2
R.I.P
The Rookie
birth:2525
death:2554
killed by STUPID FUCKING REBLS
+Freddy Fazbear you know he was a good soldier when freddy fazbear posts r.i.p for the guy
+Alex Stoeger lol yeah
+Alex Stoeger only legendary people get rips from him
ram3n no0dle and night security guards. He rips those guys to pieces
+Alex Stoeger yiss
Such a pathetic way to kill a hero like him, don't kill someone like that through a book that's just a horrrrrible decision
Oh wait, 343 are the masters of bad decisions
QuantumFrost it obvious 😔 and rookie was so badass
hey frost books are not truly "canon" as the games have overruled certain parts of books making them more of a separate timeline. so technically rookie could still be alive
lost in time lol not that one its straight up Canon as a way to explain what happened to alpha 9 and how buck became a spartan
But it was definately Bungie who made ODST
QuantumFrost exactly
Woah, I thought he was still alive... being quiet and looking up to the sky....
he died in the last book, which came out thee months ago

Linda Pravdin :( You are right
***** "All offence or spam will be reported to Google if on Google+,YouTbe and Gmail." wow, you really don't want to be made fun of this "clan" of yours.
+Derek Collins he shouldve died like noble six in the mission lone wolf.
NO YOUR MAKING MY FAN FICTION SINGALS WORK
Why do characters "have" to have a heroic death? Sometimes people just die, man. It's war.
Rookie:Was I a good boy?
Death:No,I was told you were the best
Rip
Also until it is mentioned in game I am not going to acknowledge the rookies death as canon
Raximous Prime Same
if the rest of the odst team became spartan 4s then why didnt they put each other in the same team?
Pira I little late to this but it was because buck didn't want to lead a team anymore
It’s true buck is now a spartan look at Halo 5
Pira Mcikey ended up being a traitor. I think Romeo another is AWOL. Buck would then end up being up part of Osiris.
Noble 6 and the rookie are some of the best characters in halo history
Rest In Peace brother.
*Moment of Silence for our fallen hero*
Damn, I don't know why that hit me hard in the feels man. I feel like crying to be honest. The Rookie is my 2nd favorite Halo character aside from Sierra-117, Thel, and Noble 6.
The Rookie is basically a legend like the Master Chief
Bryan the holy trinity the father: master chief the son: rookie and the holy spirit: six
I heard somewhere that him and master chief where the only 2 to be labeled as “hyper lethal” by Dr.halsey
@@racistgirrafe the only two hyper lethal Spartans where John 117 and Noble 6
if rookie became a spartan, i think he could have been the third hyperlethal spartan
*Halo 21 shot salute*
We will forever remember the Rookie in our hearts, as we did with Sgt. Johnson, Cortana and the rest of the heroes that bravely but sadly perished in the Halo universe's timeline.
*salute*
He should have been a part of the Spartan IV program.
apparently June was going to ask him to be.
I loved ODST. One of the best side games ever. A very great and solid story
RIP Rookie :_(
sumerian88 stop.. it hurts dude, it hurts so bad
SPOILER oh nevermind to late
He was so silent and badass at the same time , RIP Rookie
2nd favorite character in Halo Series. Rest in Peace Rookie.
Thomas Jimenez 1chief 2noble 6 3emile 4rookie 5 carter 6jorge 7 cat wait no cat is a spartan and DIED FROM A SINGLE SHOT HOW STUPID SHES NOT A SPARTAN
So let me get this straight, halo 3 was the end of the halo story and rookie is still alive? Sounds right, I'm going with it.
Yup nothing else.
So I'm pretty sure in halo 5, when playing as the chief, Linda, Fred, and kelly is our squad(for coop and story). When playing as Locke, buck, Romeo, and Jun are our squad
That's a really good idea actually. I just wonder how they would connect jun to Buck and Romeo.
Clowndarth345 Jun offered Buck to become a spartan and Buck took the offer (I think he did) so that's how! :D
I think instead of Jun being the other Spartan it maybe is the girl in halo nightfall ( sorry , forgot her name), but Romeo and Buck are a very good possibility
Jun is retired as a combatant. I doubt he'd choose to join Locke's squad.
Was Romeo even offered the option to become a spartan like Buck?
RIP Rookie. :(
Still, I hope that the remaining ODSTs (Buck and Romeo) return in another Halo game! :)
***** I guess you could say that part of us has died then... ;(
josh11735 honestly who cares about rookie? did you even know him? ANYTHING ABOUT HIM??? he had no personality whatsovever. HE DIDNT EVEN SPEAK!
mateuszgojski Oh for crying out loud, I don't miss him dearly as an actual character. It's somewhat saddening because he was a character we played as (who accomplished a lot through our gameplay) that died.
What about Mickey Dutch and dare?
kirbybro4 Mickey is a traitor, Dare didn't become a spartan iirc
Rookie: *Says a word*
Everyone: * gets Mind blown and entered the parallel universe*
I'm crying because the rookie died...
Me to bud. Me to
He's sooooo awesome
I'm crying because the main saga ignored him after ODST minus Buck

I LOVE LETTUCE do it’s just that our fire team didn’t know anything but our light was 390 each
*EVERYONE BY PRAISEWORTHING THE CHIEF LETS MAKE LIKES 117*
I don't accept his story's conclusion being found in a book, when his existence started in a video game. That's just cheap, insulting even.
I agree Bro, that was my very first character I played as. Screw the guy who wrote that book!
I don't accept it either, but 343 gets the final say in the end. His legacy is done for.
Allow me to introduce you to Spartan Team Black.
would have liked if him and buck were spartans in halo 5 and the rookie was on chiefs side and buck on lockes.
Would've put some decent plot and good drama into H5.
Doubtful since chiefs team was just blue team
He would of most likely replace Tanaka
When I learned the Rookie's death a year ago, my heart broke.
im 5 years late but what ever.
but imagine in the new Halo Infinite game... just imagine.... if Rookie was still alive with everyone who knew him were in shock that they thought he was dead and what if Rookie just said..."I was asleep. My helmet was too tough that the bullet bounced off the back of my helmet that it made me sleep"
Linard Gascon i think he was shot but in a non vital part of the brain that made him pass out and it was a cover up by ONI
Rookie didnt die. End discussion, fuck 343 and Mickey
All joking aside, I am almost in tears right now. I loved The Rookie. I love silent protagonists
Id really like some lore on the engineers. Or the bugs, (dont know if you've done either of them.)
Mooshroom Gaming We've done the buggers! ua-cam.com/video/Y8aa051w8_A/v-deo.html
HaloFollower Mr follower I got some awesome news you know that at the end of the master Chief trailer when he was walking to Locke his face was orange and Locke's was blue so like Locke was normal and since cheaf was forunner he became RAMPENT!!!!!!!!!!
Fuck off I'll beat the shit out of you I know about the visor I didn't mean too type face ):-(
I was just ugh the point is that you got orange and blue hinting a lot of Promethean activity through out the game jerk
I'm 26 years older than you and also i know about that plus I did not mean to right chief I use a phone to do updates and it always auto corrects so go back and do what you young adults do these days
Rookie lost because we weren’t in control of him >:(
We all went through one hell of a ride the Rookie, it was an honor, and he would have made one hell of a Spartan. He will be missed ,and will always be remembered by all of us Halo fans, and will rest in peace knowing that his efforts in life were not in vain but meant something in the end. Fight on and remember his fight.
The Rookie
2525~2554
I love you
OpenSTiCH lmao
Were it so easy...
Chance Tucker really you're gonna copy my comment and it gets more likes than mine. Nobody does that to Master Chief!!!
Hey no harm ment Master Chief!
God damnit why couldn't they give the rookie a badass death like noble six.
Blaze here’s what his death should of been: bombarded by bullets
Or fought for the last stand.
They need to make a halo ODST 2
Liz 821 like someone carries on his legacy
yes i would buy it immediately
Not unless they bring Rookie back
The Rookie was my favorite character because I could relate to him the most.
Me too, I'm a lot like him
Lol
You're a weekend Covenant Killer? (Trying to lighten things up.)
A silent person who kills aliens?
Mudkip I think the same, but in the end, the less you know of a character the best some times you can relate to them, don't know how or what was he think make you think you are the one who thinks, another characters like those are the ones in games like the Elder Scroll Saga (Oblivion, Skyrim), Shepard from Mass Effect (They let you choose almost every thing from his past :P), in fact this is why some games make the plot "memory lost", the best way to make money is to make a game interesting, and to make it interesting you need a lot of things, one of them is to make contact with the player in a emotional way
My profile pic is my way of paying my respects to rookie! RIP rookie... ;(
He was a good samaritan.
MonteMind is that a reference to an achievement?
Rythaze Yes and *his* achievement.
Bro I salute u thanks for honoring him
Caleb Kearney no probs!
this art style needs to come back honestly
You know, I think that the Rookie was one of the best characters in Halo lore "ever- of all time."
first noble 6 and now the rookie...they were the best maybe could be alongside with master chief but they both died with honor.
ehhh nobel did. rookie got rekt.
+HinatasCrush I wish, ODST is my favourite Halo game ever, and I would like to see him back. Maybe his death is non-cannonical? ;__;
Hope so Kam hope so. The rook needs more face time.
HinatasCrush in that case the rookie should just get an iPhone
Honestly before 343, the entire series was so depressing and I love it.
Shame, the rookie would've made one hell of a spartan.
Odst got a pretty good rating and is one of my most favourite games of all time.
AwesomeBroDude Yeah... I should probably play it again. I wonder if there's more games like it, where one moment you wonder aimlessly for a good moment, enjoying the scenery and the next you find yourself fending off hordes... Besides Fallout :P
(it's either albino scorpions or legion assassins that are bullet sponges from hell)
+Vic 2_O definitely the second
I love how as soon as the new guy dies, everything goes to shit for the characters, as annoying as it is, well played.
RIP ROOKIE
Rookie would have made a great Spartan II, because he's silent and stuff and that's the first thing they teach you in the Spartan II program...
The rebels bought the shield and generator from Kig Yar pirates
I'm guessing you haven't read the books or comics
Scott Ripley well in the last issue the Infinity took on two Assault Carriers and numerous light cruisers
And 343i is inconsistent with that. Which needs to stop. Either the Infinity needs to take on two assaults and be fine with it, or be a weak ship that gets held up by a few Liches and an SDV.
343 Takes over!
Writing New Blood
Charlie:Hey Joe wouldn't it be a great idea to kill of an interesting character in a book instead of going into detail of his story in game and using him as a viable charecter??~}??????
Joe:Im autistic you shouldnt be asking me charlie nor am i a writer and neither are you.
Charlie: Oh thanks joe for complementing my writing skills and confirming that my idea is great!
Joe: Wait no!
Charlie prints the book
Hey Chris, could you do a video about the life of the Sangheilli race?
he said in a recent vid that it is in the works
Oh ok, thanks man :)

No but I'm really unlucky
+Death Blossom don't forget about roach from cod
He wasn’t a rookie. He was an excellent fighter, a savior, and a master detective. He was a war hero.
Rookie and chief take the spot for best characters - RIP ROOKIE it was my childhood playing your character
2:31
If you look closely, you can see the In Amber Clad next to the Carrier when it starts to enter slipspace.
another dead forgotten hero RIP Rookie you will be missed
His being a detective immediately makes me like him. It's one reason why ODST is my favorite Halo campaign. Exploring the rainy streets of New Mombasa at night while unravelling the dual mysteries of your squad's location and Sadie's story felt like a noir detective story.
R.I.P Rookie we will never forget u
So they just set up ODST 2 but we would play as Mickey. To top it off the ODSTs became Spartans. Great...
mickey is a rebel, the thing they problaby set up is that romeo and buck are two of the spartan of locke team in the first cinematic of halo 2 anniversary
miguel com Never heard that theory. It would make sense because Buck quit as a spartan team lead and just became a regular SIV
nah, i think those three are Kelly Linda and Fred... that's why the weird looks from locke and the "modicum of respect" from the Arbie
I think Chief might join the rebels and you'd play as Mickey becoming a spartan and joining the rebels but you'd have to revert back to basics (Heath packs, repairing armour with different pieces and scraps) while the UNSC hunt down Chief and destroy the city you're surviving in as they do so.
grengolan wrong armors, and they would not go hunting jhonn.
The rookies death was literally the first time I ever wanted to cry for a video game lore
I suppose that's true. It's just hard to take in. especially after playing as him. I trust them to make a good story out of it.
I feel the same way
***** You say that like we'll see these characters again.
Wtf he dieed ????
*spoilers*
Eldinn Ma I was looking forward to maybe a second odst game where we learn more about him, but nope ;-;
Don't worry, buck is now a spartan and is speculated to have joined the team with agent Locke that we saw in halo 2 anniversary
***** lol
Eldinn Ma well its the most common way to avoid accidentaly referencing him in a future game by mentioning him or any events he contributed to
I reject that ending. In my head Rookie has joined the Spartan Project and we play as him/her in the Halo Infinite multiplayer.
"Y'know we *could* have The Rookie join fireteam Osiris instead of a few losers with the exception of Buck...."
"But nah, let's give The Rookie a shitty death and discard him like he's nothing"
-343
0:35 that's a picture taken from destiny you can tell by the patterns at the bottom of the screen.
Yep bungi still kicks ass (until they let fcking Activison, and Microsoft to fck up destiny)
Jacob Ferrera what makes you think Activision and Microsoft were the ones that fucked up? Can't Bungie fuck up as well?
Gofaw well bungi can fck up but this time it was on activision and microsft
Jacob Ferrera what makes you say that?
well the editors of the game were activision and microsoft. activision helped published the game but they were the ones who made the decision to change the story to the way it is after the lead writer of destiny left. putting destiny into a postilion were the story was pretty bad and there were many bugs to be fixed. another thing is that microsft was also an editor in this game and they should have stepped and said something about how bad the story line and organization of destiny was. thus they should have made some changes that could have not made destiny be one of the worst games to release. micorsoft also did the same thing with halo mcc (master chief collection) making halo have the worst launch on console in history. (if there is bad grammar in this rant don't kill me English is not my first language)
He could've honestly been a Spartan, but the fact that he wasn't makes him even more badass
So when Mickey saw the rebels kill The Rookie, he decides to join the rebels?
Transformersfan48 it was Mickey's fault he died! The rebels had rookie at gunpoint and Mickey instead of shooting the rebel threatening the rookie, ordered him to put the gun down. The rebel shot rookie instantly and then the rebel was taken out immediately after by Dutch :( at least he was avenged. Mickey defected soon after he got the Spartan 4 augmentations and was taken into custody by Buck. He's still alive, the bastard,
***** so Mickey told the rebel to put the gun down instead of shooting the rebel
Transformersfan48 Yep. Mickey didnt feel comfortable shooting humans since he's been shooting aliens his whole military career. thats also one of the reasons he defected. he began to see the unsc as the bad guys.
***** I honestly thought Dutch did the right thing. I would have avenged my friend if he got shot.
Well I just got over Cortana's death... Now I know that the Rookie died... Now I'm crying again
I don't cry nonono what I do is break shit
I only played Halo 3:ODST recently and it makes me so sad to know that the rookie dies, especially like this. ODST is such a great game. The music, the unique atmosphere, the gameplay... It really sucks that he has to die.
Rookie dies-dick move 343
Sgt Johnson dies-great ending to a great character good job Bungie
so much hypocrisy
Pretty much the status of our community.
T-Ray Jones both statements are wrong
reynel4 I was trying to show what comments have been like
Bladed Arbiter it's terrible isn't it
T-Ray Jones oh ok no problem then xD
I'm more depressed because of the music from odst instead.
Thanks for taking your time to make this video.
R.I.P ROOKIE you have served the ODST proudly and you'll be soluted To all the players who knows your death.... You (sniff) will be remembered for fighting in halo 3 ODST (sniff) your courage you sacrifice and your honor to the UNSC and everyone played halo reach to halo 4 and even tough your gone and I hate to say the word but I'll say it " you were KIA Goddammit but we'll never (sniff)
Forget the day that you were fighting to defend earth you'll... Be ...

Thank you for hearing these word
"ROOKIE"
2525 - 2552 rest in piece
Jolina ann Jauco why are you so emotional about this guy.
the rookie was the best protagonist :)
You can tell Alpha nine really cared about the Rookie, his death hit them all hard.
Who the hell wrote story... It suck I hate that Rockie is dead
This is so good, Halo: ODST 2 should've been a thing following this story, leading to buck joining team osiris.
What a shitty way for a badass character to die.
