What’s your favorite jig to fish in summer?
Gotta be a 6th sense scrape grass jig! Love me some flipping!
My own tied jigs you can't find anywhere....lol
I use Elk River Jigs flippin jigs. Local family business. Hand tied and great hooks.
I love the swim jigs and also use them jig style in light cover.
I like my swim jig. Strike King 1/4 ounce in shad color. Green pumpkin craw or Keitech 3.8 in a two tone color.
Good video Quince! If you are ever out in the eastern part of Pa and want to fish Nockamixon, Blue Marsh, beltzville, wallenpaupack let me know I’ll put you on some fish ,,
Tha Nock blue marsh Beltzville and Marsh creek are really tough any tips?
Will do thanks!
I ended a jig for the first time this past weekend. I quickly learned that none of my rods have enough backbone for jig fishing. I picked up a stiffer rod and I’ll try again this weekend.
Good luck!
My favorite fishing lure is the jig. It's year round and never fails. Only other lure I use year round is a worm of some sort. I swear, you tie nothing but those two and you'll get bit where I live (Arkansas) anytime of year.
Nice! Good luck!
Yes sir, that's what I've had some good luck on. Skipping up under overhangs on dropoffs and on wood in 10-15 .I've been using the Hybrid jig on your recommendation and I'm really digging it. Still haven't lost it and I put it in some trash. Thanks
Awesome good luck!
Good video!
Thanks buddy!
Mr. Q- Excellent video. I have watched it three times. One comment-I swim a jig only two or three times past a single piece of cover. If you miss one or know it’s there, I throw something completely different. A curly tail worm or a weightless swimbait. Something with a different profile.
That works too!
Great information this , Nathan I’m listening all your videos, new subscriber
Thank you!
Awesome content Nathan. Thank you for your time,
Thank you!
You’ve been crushing it lately Nathan. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you!
I thought of another video. Especially being from western PA, boat choice is very difficult with the large number of hp restricted waters. How to pick a boat to best suit one's needs. For instance, in the PGH area, we have a world class smallmouth fishery in Erie, the Ohio river is five minutes from my house, Raccoon is electric only, and Arthur has a 20 hp limit. How to make a choice and some questions to ask yourself before getting a boat.
I could look into it!
Great info
Thank you!
Thanks Nathan. How come your not using the greatest rod on earth? I like all types of jigs, but have been moving towards creature baits and craw. I just get more bites and the size of bass has been just as good. Plus I don't hang up a 6 dollar jig.
That can work too!
Whats your take on the swing head?
I’ve done a video on it!
Do you trim off your weed gaurd .
I do not!
You said everything is moving fast but your slowly dragging your jig .maybe hopping the jig might have produced a few more bites ??
he's talking about the initial fall speed that a heavier jig has
Yep! Exactly what this comment said you drag slow to maintain bottom contact but want a fast fall rate!
Real quick question Nathan, do you control the ads that come up on your channel? If so, just wanted to make you aware of that the one about signing up for a $712 stimulus check for drivers because of gas going up, from Joe Biden. I entered my information, and apparently it is clickbait because all it is is trying to get you hooked up for lower insurance. Nothing to do with a stimulus check whatsoever. And if that isn't you then I'm just letting you know. Maybe it's a random thing that comes up. I'm very interested in bass fishing and learning new things so I'm not opposed to keeping your subscription or anything like that. Peace brother, God bless!
I do not control any of the ads UA-cam does!
