For sure so beautiful, and the harp
To us 👯🙃
I prefer the violin.
@@Jonathan-wu7gf perfect choice 🙃🌚
Yeah he thicc
He won bgt without a golden buzzer. That's an incredible performance
That's true
He is the best one man show ; ever existed
Mazen El Farra
So good they forgot they had one
He also didn’t try have a “tragedy” to pull him into the finals😂
This would ruin everything, cuz we wouldn't hear all this
He doesn't even open his eyes... he's dreaming and feeling the notes, one by one. Such an underrated artist.
@@cooperramos2700 Well, I am not surprised. But he is still underrated.
Playing music with your eyes closed is not as hard as people would think. But is the artist's music underrated? Yea
Anime world he's reincarnated
That's what really captured me. When I saw he was playing with his eyes closed the entire time I was like oh shii he playing with his soul
Underrated?
This man plays like each note he touches is healing a part of his soul.
he’s fully connected to his music
He’s a good example of when someone says your born to do certain things like I never been so moved so much in my life by a musician
It’s so captivating, you feel like you’re truly in the moment with him
He is an artist. His body is doing what he is feeling and thinking.

Abid Tasnim bit uncalled for
Abid Tasnim triggered snowflake

He's not only a pianist, he's a producer
Duh 🤣🤣
I was thinking he should be a composer.
I saw that he IS now writing and composing music for movies!!!!!! He is beyond amazing
He is more than a pianiast
He is an artist

What else could it be? Chance? I don't think so.
Dean Tsanga Agreed. His soul IS music!

He plays the piano at the level of a 5yr old and his final performance was ruining a Hans Zimmer piece. Over rated by a long shot.
I love how he added the interstellar instrumental during his final act it made it very better and he gave me chills. He’s a mastermind.
Only the real ones knew it was interstellar

There’s definitely a reason why he’s the winner. Holy crap I love this

Fantastic~!!! 😍
Terrific performance.
@Hardstuck Plat why are you under every comment complementing tokio saying he's bad? you're actually the definition of pathetic
Whats the reason? The easiest piano pieces or what?
This is a man who truly FEELS the music he plays
Wub Wubzer OKAY? Yes yes yes yes
And looks a little stoned doing it ;)
Danyal Al Im always stoned
*Insert literally any pianist here*
He IS the music
I hope one day I can see a performance by Tokio live. The level of skill and passion he puts into his art is truly staggering.
To be a good pianist you have to feel the notes, this guy is the only person i have ever seen keep his eyes close and feel every note, understand and just play his heart out, such an amazing performance
It looks like he’s literally like literally pouring his actual soul into it
JazeGaming official !!
He is
Are you a “Your lie in April” fan
I know !! There’s so much emotion in it
That's what us pianists do. When I feel like going all out I throw all of my emotions at the piano. It feels amazing let me tell you that.
That final performance gave me the maddest chills
SloMoe Official at Least I'm not the the only one 😂😂😂
YES!
The beginning of the final performance is the soundtrack from the movie Interstellar, very great movie it's very emotional and I get chills every time I watch it.
ITS ALSO IN HIS FIRST PERFORMANCE PROLOGUE THINGY
THATS WHAT BLEW MY MIND
man I’m rewatching this for a millionth time and it still gives me goosebumps 🔥
still watching 2020 from South Africa
Just saw this for the first time. RSA
Another level of talent. Only one man plays music like an orchestra. Respectfully
Practice, anyone can do this with practice and dedication.
Geralt de Pistola Yes, because Mozart created his pieces with only practice. The guy was a child prodigy, talent is a thing that exists. Those with talent will always be better with practice than those who achieved theirs with practice alone.
@Hardstuck Plat wtf. Your vison is so low
@@decimation9780 He pulled off great performance, no doubt about it, but you surely don't play piano if you think that the piano part alone was super hard.
@@MegaGaradag Depends entirely upon the piece itself, as well as tempo. Granted this was definitely on the easier side, but it’s still worth mentioning nonetheless.
Mad respect to the guy handlin the lights.
Edit: wow this video popped up in my recommended again and i forgot i left this comment here lol. Thanks for the likes.

What? My daughter of 8 years plays better. He is just a good looking guy-and thats it. No talent.
@@montetanktankkiller700 .... id like to see proof of that. Besides its not simply the proficiency that makes this performance, but the emotion and how it was put together so masterfully
@@montetanktankkiller700 you’re a jealous and insecure guy 😭
@@montetanktankkiller700 why are u judging the level of his playing instead of how the pieces he plays sounds? you're basically saying that you only enjoy pieces that sound hard and not good? No one here mentioned "how hard and challenging the pieces sounds and therefore I enjoy it". Use your brain and stop feeding your own ego
@@unmilkedpotato5006 BS eg. For Elise, no matter how good the playing can be, it's just not at the level to win that kind of competition. A little claim must be allowed. And this has absolutely nothing to do with feeding my ego. I have taught at least 2800 pianists in my life. Many became orchestral musicians or pianists in their own right. This is just a laughing matter trimmed for TV.

Still amazed at all of his performances, and it’s also very rare that the final performance is the best one, but it most definitely is - still takes my breath away

He should make an insurance for his fingers....they are precious
shekhar sharma most pianists do have insurance for their hands
shekhar sharma i’m pretty sure he had carpal tunnel or something wrong with his wrists and or hands and that’s why he went on the show to play until he cant
@@al-ec3kq wasnt that the violinist
You can tell he feels that music. He plays his soul.
Edit: I keep coming back to this, I swear he is a modern day Handel.
I disagree, there's something about his "depth" that makes it seem fake to me.
He will be called upon to create original for motion picture scores and more. There may be legendary singers and musical icons who will also seek collaboration with Toki0
When I watched Tokio play the Interstellar theme I was blown away. it's my favorite song of all time. And to here him playing it is just better.
That feeling of being completely taken over is so personified. Another musician can understand the feeling when every note you play resonates within you. You literally become numb to the outside world and for a rare moment live in that very space and time.
Paula Pinkel I like both. Music doesn’t discriminate
My first sight of true passion as you just described was from Tash Sultana. So inspiring to see that amount of passion in someone doing what they love.

I'm here in 2024, and I loved all 3 performances. He is very passionate when he is playing the piano, you can see it in his face when he plays.
Always said a person who can play an instrument to that level is worth ten times a singer .... The work and discipline is unbelievable. Was so so happy wen he win he so so deserved it. What an artist of his craft.
what an incredible atmosphere he creates! Really makes it feel like you're transcending into another world almost
Hans Zimmer. That's why.
What I witnessed : A man who is in search of salvation , drenching himself in rain of music. He is so owned by music

Imagine him and Hans Zimmer making music together.
yessss needs to happen
Most performers show their talent with talking, singing or with stunts some being dangerous and yet don't even make it to the finals like this guy did. It's a very rare talent which is why he won and deserved it. Talent, art and music connected together creates something magical that is virtually undescribable, indestructible and undisputable all at the same time. Very unique indeed.
