Switch eshop is endlessly full with games that might look like they're neat but the descriptions and footage fails them. Also full of garbage which hides them! So this series is appreciated
Totally agree. The Switch is like steam now, impossible to sift through due to the sheer amount of games. Even sifting through the sales page for instance is too much, over a thousand games at any given time. Crazy. And yeah, its also like steam in the fact that its full of shovelware and even lewd games now, which is really off brand for nintendo, I don't know how they allow that now, lol. Thanks for your comment OfficialJab!
ElecHead wasn't my favorite puzzle game I played this year (Patrick's Parabox broke me,) but it was the most elegantly designed game. Perfect length, perfect pacing, perfect difficulty. One of the best puzzle platformers of the last decade.
Its a great game right? Stylish too. Patricks Parabox has a great idea too, I havent played but the room inside a box idea seems awesome, will try it soon!
Hey I just want to say, your switch hidden gem videos are the best by FAR that Ive seen. You have so many amazing games on your vids that ive never seen before, most of them in fact. On most of these types of vids (on youtube), they either have much less appealing games that dont seem that good or they have the same few games everyone else talks about. I've just watched all of your switch hidden gem vids and found several amazing games! Almost all of them I'd never seen anywhere else. Thank you :)
Love having these hidden gems, they tend to be in my wheelhouse in both price and genre. Trying to find stuff like this through trial and error is a costly slog though, so I'm grateful we have you here. Keep up the good work.
Thanks RandomEntry! It really is a slog to sift through Switch games nowadays with the insane amount of them and how so many are shovelware and even lewd, which is insane how Nintendo is allowing that given their history and brand reputation, lol. Glad you are finding the videos helpful!
I remember I found this channel when the 3DS eshop was closing and I was trying to get all the great games before time runs out. So happy I found the channel as it's become one of my favorite ever since ( Sea from the void )
With the closure of so many storefronts lately, and the 3DS/Wii U official online servers even being pulled soon as well, I've become a lot more interested in digital and digital-only games. Your content really helps me add to my list of things to hope for a good sale on. Thanks as always for the great and informative videos! Sea From The Void
Glad that's shining through! I try my best to dig deep and find the games no one is talking about, so its important to know from someone who watches this kind of video that its working, so thanks for letting me know! :D
I found your channel when the 3DS shop was closing, you did a phenomenal job at showing us the best games. For that reason I will support you whatever videos you post! Sea From The Void
I've had Iris and the Giant in one of my game libraries for a while now and just haven't played it yet... Gonna install it and try it out now! This is also the second mention I've seen of both Gibbon and Lil Gator Game, so I'm gonna pick both of them up soon. These recommendations are just incredible! Keep up the good work! Sea From The Void
Thanks nomnomnom! Glad you are enjoying these recommendation videos! Have you tried Iris and the Giant since you posted the comment? I loved it its so much fun!
Sea From The Void Would recommend Icey. Kinda strange game, but a lot of fun, and it doesn't go on long enough to get boring. Def worth the asking price.
Arthur you're back! I gotta say, I have a heartfelt request to make in light of recent news. We only recently mourned the end of 3DS eShop, and they sure didn't wait long to announce the end of other online services next April. I think it would be awesome, if we could compile a list of games that will be losing content and functionality as a consequence. To see whether there's games to consider to start playing or to make savefiles for to keep this content, if applicable. As I understand it, the loss will at least include online activities in Pokémon and Smash games etc, as well as *SpotPass* content in various games, like Fire Emblem Awakening and its _special characters_ and chapters, Einherjar and bonus items... and possibly a truckload of extra dungeons in Dragon Quest, to mention a few. I'm not exactly trustful of the promise that Pokémon Bank will live much longer after that either, we'll see. :/ Your 3DS eShop videos were incredibly helpful, and I'm wondering just how much of that knowledge you still have saved up or if any of it would help in this case, to have the compilation get a step further. Sorry to toot this in an unrelated video, though. Your hidden gem series are nice, your footage and the way you compile the info are super useful. They also remind me that I can sometimes choose between Steam and Switch, to have some console variety and more couch gaming options. I think I've had ICEY in my wishlist for a while. I should just come back to these vids if I want inspiration!
Hey Akwatypus! Thanks for your message. Yes, absolutely! I will do a video or more on 3DS games that have online content, I have already started drafting that video. That bad news came way too early, brutal. It will be the video after the next one, in which I will continue the Xbox 360 marketplace closure coverage. Digital gaming stuff closing left and right these times. I am aiming for the 3DS online video to come out sometime in december. Next year I am also planning on going back to the 3DS with a list of my favorite games for instance. Thanks for watching, glad you find these switch videos helpful as well!
Yes, always love hidden gems! And Switch is really perfect for playing these! I love being able to find these smaller titles or ports that try something new and interesting. Nintendo Switch in particular, has been a great platform for me to play games I wouldn’t have ever tried otherwise. There is a lot of junk to go through on the eShop though, because the platform is so popular, so I always appreciate videos like this! Hope you’re able to keep it up with the videos and any other projects you have planned! 👍 Sea From The Void
Yeah, the switch has become the go to platform for all sorts of smaller titles which I appreciate a lot. This also makes it harder to find anything in the ocean of games, so Im glad you are finding these videos helpful Pawnchao! Thanks so much for your support!
Very usefull video🤩, the switch eShop is to big to find most of these. I had forgoten the existence of the ones i recall seeing, the best price they have ever had is a very nice touch too. Thanks for the content👍 Sea from the void
We need more video talking about hidden gems, I remember seeing all your videos on the 3ds before the shop closed, it was so helpful !! ho and Sea From The Void
Awesome collection of games as always!! Played the demo for Lil Gator, that game is so cute!! Iris and the Giant looks beautiful, I almost want to give it a chance even though I'm not really into card games. Dandy Dungeon also looks great, might actually try that!
Thanks dude! If you are into strategy games do check out Iris and the Giant. Its a great game truly. Im also not big on card games at all and it didnt matter whatsoever.
Good video as always man. I've heard of roughly half of these games but the other half I had no idea about and want to check out (Iris and the Giant, Vectrom, How to Say Goodbye, and Gibbon caught my eye the most) so thanks for sharing the spot light on them! Keep up the good work! Sea From The Void
Sea From The Void Wow, Kharon's Crypt, Gunbrella and Curse Crackers look very interesting. Great aesthetics and atmosphere, very reminiscent of GBC/GBA games. Will have to check them out.
Thanks! Soon content will be coming more frequently, if all goes well in the beginning of 2024 Ill be able to make more videos! Thanks for your support shadowen!

Sea From The Void Great list as always, found the channel when I was looking for hidden gems for PS Vita and been following ever since. Keep up the good work!
I picked up Moon recently, but havent played it yet. From what I understand, it has more in common with Chibi Robo, in terms if format and objective. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll take a look- sea from the void. Bump it up the backlog a bit.
@@FromTheVoidGames I might hold off for a re-release if I were you, I forgot how insane the prices on that one have become, and I really don't think the game itself is worth it at that price range.
Sea From the Void I am looking forward to Gunbrella! There's no doubt it will get the Special Reserve Games physical treatment, so I am trying to hold off until then!
THAAANK YOOOOOUUUU!! I have been spending SO MUCH TIME going through endless amounts of games searching for Indie gems 💎 for Switch and Steam A lot of these you listed are on my wish list or I own. I understand there’s a real need for something like this with a storefront that prioritizes AAA and shovelware, but at this moment we can’t forget there’s another store that will close soon and we need as many guides for it as possible. Not only games will be lost, also some important DLC on the 360.
When I saw a video from your channel pop up on my feed, I knew I was in for a treat! Thank you so much for still making these incredible videos and spreading the word on games that deserve more recognition! Sea From The Void
Sea From The Void Lunistice is an amazing Game. Reminds me of classic Sega Saturn Platformers. Maybe N64 or Playstation, but looks like a Saturn game for me. 😊
Sea From The Void I will say that if I heavily enjoyed platforming games and puzzle platformers, some of these look very interesting that I probably would play. Hopefully some people will find a good amount of these enjoyable!
Yeah, this episode was particularly rich in the platforming genre. I noticed that towards the end of the production and added a couple more games to compensate there lol.
I'm so glad I stumbled across this channel! I love finding hidden gems but it's hard to gauge the quality when they're particularly unknown. I picked up Blue Fire recently and I don't know if its counts as a hidden gem because I'm pretty sure it was in an indie direct at some point? Anyways, Sea From The Void
I think Blue Fire does count. A lot of people need a second or third exposure to a game to be convinced, so only showing up in the direct may not be enough in many cases, I think that's true for Blue Fire. I did talk about that one in a pickups video. Ill consider it for a hidden gems sequel for sure!
Sea From the Void I always enjoy your hidden gem videos and this one is no exception. Thank you for introducing me to so many new titles and inspiring me to play more games :)

Another great video. So many great games to choose from, although I wish all were available on physical (and at major retailers, not just limited run companies where often times, will have been sold out on copies). My backlog is getting insane. How do you get through all these games! Sea From The Void
lol, since I began making videos I've been playing more games than ever. The difference from before is that now I play way less mainline triple A titles and I am being forced to sometimes not finish games here an there, which pains me. But in lists like this I finish all or almost all of them to be sure they are worth the recommendation. Thanks for your constant support tsunamirider!
Yeah, but the steelbook edition is still up! Super Rare steelbooks are usually pretty great, and not that overpriced, so it could be an option if someone really wants Lil Gator game physical.
Agreed, there are SO many games on the switch, Ill be doing videos for a really long time! More hidden gems videos coming soon. In the meanwhile, check the rest of the series if you haven't yet: ua-cam.com/video/QtjHIax6jBg/v-deo.html

@@FromTheVoidGames Thanks for the comment mate😎🏴☠️ lots of interesting gems on this list❤️ not really a big digital gamer as the queen of the seven seas prefers physical mostly. However considering these juicy games I may be reconsidering

Hey Dominic! Great to see you around! I also backed Sea of Stars! Beautiful game! Did you play i already?
Another great video. So many great games to choose from, although I wish all were available on physical (and at major retailers, not just limited run companies where often times, will have been sold out on copies). My backlog is getting insane. How do you get through all these games! Sea From The Void
lol, since I began making videos I've been playing more games than ever. The difference from before is that now I play way less mainline triple A titles and I am being forced to sometimes not finish games here an there, which pains me. But in lists like this I finish all or almost all of them to be sure they are worth the recommendation. Thanks for your constant support tsunamirider!

Lil Gator Game is already sold out on Super Rare's website
Yeah, but the steelbook edition is still up! Super Rare steelbooks are usually pretty great, and not that overpriced, so it could be an option if someone really wants Lil Gator game physical.
Sea From The Void, keep it up man!
Thanks for the support Joe!
Nice list but you are missing like a lot of hidden gems for switch, make another one- sea from the void
Agreed, there are SO many games on the switch, Ill be doing videos for a really long time! More hidden gems videos coming soon. In the meanwhile, check the rest of the series if you haven't yet: ua-cam.com/video/QtjHIax6jBg/v-deo.html

Ya’ll best have played The Messenger too
Sea From The Void
True! I meant to feature it when I first started this series, but I feel like The Messenger is not hidden anymore. But a fantastic game, had a blast with it. And dude, since you are interested in playing Sea of Stars, if you havent yet, there are tons of The Messenger references in it, some of the best parts of the games are references to The Messenger, its awesome. Thanks for watching Jooshrs!
