A ship with 3 giant guns that shoots so hard it literally throws itself into a backflip? That's the most ork thing I've ever seen, 10/10

Or at least that's what I hear him saying in my head! We've already discussed the idea about themed tournaments/scenarios in the future and had at least Star Wars, Expanse, and Battlestar Galactica on list, but now I'm thinking we gotta do a WH40k one as well at some point! Maybe add a soundblock mod containing a bunch of Dawn of War unit voicelines too...? 👀

I hope this helps add options to your list, I am guessing you probably already have a variety of them picked out but I was bored this evening:
Serenity, halo, call of duty, homeworld, star craft, star gate, guardians of the galaxy, tron, rick and morty, futurama, starship troopers, Orville (more star trek?), Space pirate harlock, gundam, babylon 5, mass effect, cowboy bebop, dreadnaught, fractured space, star citizen, elite dangerous, stellaris, dark matter, space battleship yamamoto, solar empire, iron sky, Independence day, children of a dead earth, kerbal space program/nasa, eve online, faster than light, all the factions/seasons/spinoffs in between, etc etc etc
Stargate too. Nukeguard's made an awesome Atlantean Drone Platform on the workshop that's built for WeaponCore.
@@Xocliw would enjoy seeing the Defiant and various other ships of the federation in play.
I love how you can't even tell what's damaged on the big ork ship after a dozen mac rounds...because it looked so mangled to start with. True 40k Ork design.
Near the end it looked like a Minecraft ship.

It’s hard to make without blowing up but if done right I created a Russian doll of a ship. You blow it to pieces and the pieces have their own secret thrusters so it can keep fighting. It’s a ship that’s hard to disable because different chunks are their own individual ships.
I actually sort of love the constant switching between the guys high octane narrating, and shack casually taking mac potshots at the ork ships, Im literally imagining him just sitting there aiming with one hand and sipping from a mug of coffey or something with the other.

I loved your ship designs! The speed meta really worked against you, and I'm a little sad the first volley missed. Your missile output was TERRIBLE and FRIGHTENING.

The problem with the orks is that they used YELLOW on some parts of the hull.
Yellow means Boom, so they got blasted out.

Im glad they didn't just copy the exact look of existing ork ships for this, these are literally the orky-ish ships I have ever seen in space engineers, I love them. They are amazing
Also this tournament has made me realise Keen seriously need to work on the weapons in space engineers, one type of machine gun and one type of rocket is just not much. Either this or they should look at how From The Depths handles their weapon systems, I think FTD just does it way better in literally every way.
They won't do anything man, for the devs the game is basically finished! I look at the potential this game had and I am sad.

You mentioned the higher point caps before and I really think that was the play. It allows so much more customization variation in the tournament.
I would love to see one of the maps a graveyard of ships and a really low build cap, it would interesting to see what people would do. Use wreckage as a shield, or rams, or a group of small gunboats with wolfpack tactics. Who knows it would be interesting
Yeah a ship piece that could stick to voxels or grids and attach could be cool for that
I was going insane watching shack shoot the hitbox of the asteroid so many times. I’m so glad he realised what was happening even if it were a fair way into the battle.

if you have a choice, always look at the orks. entertainment is guaranteed.
God those PD lasers were so cool. Reminds me of Blade Runner, the speech given by Roy: "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. You guys won the battle, but the ork ships won my heart
it was fun battle to watch, the sniping ships on both sides made it more tactical
It's always cool to see and hear the internal team dynamic vs what Xoc hypothesizes is going on. He's pretty spot on most of the time!
It's unfortunate that your macs were bugging out, but there were some beautiful shots in there.
I'm just sad you didn't have to shoot up the disco-venators :P -DE

Those were some tremendous looking Ork ships. I also love how they are also all about dakka. And having the one Ork ship that was just immense and full of immense amounts of weapons was awesome. They did great work.

Great battle! I wonder if Clockwork would've lasted longer if he had more point defense help from the rest of the team though. Of course there was W4sted warning him to not get too close and the "yep yep, I'll run right in!" type of response lol.

Wow these fights are cool as hell, this is kinda what I saw SE actually being like when it came out.
That was my hope too but the devs are dumb as fuck and chose to let the game almost die.
Give these boyz a friendly rematch, but _both_ sides flying lore-friendly ships. Maybe even decide certain weapons that are unique to each race and cannot be taken by another.
I think these are my favorite space engineers vids. Seeing these battles is so cool.
Orks must have a weirdboy doing chrono-warp-fuckery with that reality lag.
This balance pack is MUCH better. There's a lot of variety though still more focus on missiles than I'd personally like. It doesn't feel as dominated anymore. The caster is getting better about capturing big moments and anticipating lulls in the action.
Yo, I actually love the kind of classic RPG Party layout your team has. You have your Tank being all flashy and designed to pull aggro, the MacYeetus Support dps , and rounded dps Attack ship. Imagine if a ship had repair features? lol have a little healer dock in the aft of someones ship

Also you need a new strategy, MAC sniping while others distract is already being used by many people - time to find a new meta for your team (but that's not to say MAC sniping is obsolete)

Seeing these last videos with ships with 75 PD alsrs 3 mag cannons etc.. make me firmly believe ... TO O MANY POINTS. The lag is proof of it.
The Ork team would have been a lot of trouble for a team without all the PD

I dont know if it was intentional but the editing in this made for a lot of humor, going from "epic commentating" to "my macs arent working". From frantic to calm, and the calm part was the guys in combat not the guys commenting about the combat

Ships with point defense should stick fairly close to so they can support each other.
I know I’m late but I have an idea to incorporate to your ship. If you put connectors on your ships you can help your team that don’t have thrusts

Second ship needs more DAKA!
Seems like there's no love for the T2 Gimbals, been using them on ships where I want to keep nice looking lines without plonking down a turret or a barbette for said turret. I would assume the limited traverse and the internal space required makes them undesirable in a purely PvP situation.
Sidenote, if you paint your ship red it goes faster. Its science, can't argue with that.

A random thought, is there a (Test) Tournament rule about making a ship that can "dock" with a friendly ship, like say a nearly disabled ship like Clockworks' and use them as an "additional weapon attachment"? 🤔
