Two types of gamers:
The noob who has friends
The pro who’s lonely
No there is only Discord
@bizo237 some people just dont really wanna talk or meet new people tbh
Yep, if I was capable of having friends I wouldn't be playing this game 11 years later 😂
I'm not a pro but the game used to be fun solo but they stopped that because groups were formed.
I've gone through being both
Keep up the good fight guardians.
The darkness will Never Win if we Stay and fight !!!!
For we are not alone
Stay strong Guardians💪🏽🗣️We all tryna find purpose
There is this thing called Discord
@@bizo237 yeah it's not the same trying to play destiny 1 still. Destiny 2 is a huge cash grab honestly
All my homes dropped it before Taken King. Been playing solo ever since. Destiny really was there for me for years.
Pre taken king was peak destiny imo
I'll play with
@@jayvondied5385nah taken king is included in the peak era, anything after that I think is where peak ended
@ taken king, forsaken, and 30th anniversary patch, in that order
Same
Out of all the weapons I have always wanted them to bring back from D1 to D2 this is it. Zhalo Suoercell my most used weapon in D1.
U a titan?
@ I ran all 3 but main was Hunter in D1 because I played more PvP. Now I main Titan in D2.
I agree with you on the zhalo supercell I always used it in D1 and wish it was in D2
The new Auto from the Dungeon makes target jolt. VS something or another.
I got it with attrition orbs jolting feedback. The things really feels the closet to Zhalo.
I never got to use that but that gun looks fun
As a solo player once, that feelings is the worst because you realize how good you are at the game but how easy is to be left alone😢
Ive been a lone wolf on D1&D2 never did a raid or finished a dungeon.. I can solo some of the Exotic quests but not all of them. some exotics I’ve never got to touch & they look so fun
Fireteam finder is actually pretty good. I'd never run warlords ruin till the other day. 2 guys took me through it, explained it. The next 2 days I'd run it a dozen times and lead a few teams through it myself.
Pretty much same boat. Your welcome to invite.
Help from Discord is how I have been getting my exotics
I'm with you guardian 😂
apostle#7839 if anyone needs help w a dungeon or exotic mission add n message me.
My friend group all decided we should start playing destiny 1 again and honestly it’s the best choice we’ve made. First time we’re having fun playing destiny instead of focusing on the meta
D1’s simplicity makes it more fun for me tbh. Even the raid mechanisms are easier and makes it not as stressful.
I just started replaying Destiny 1 too. But it's lonely...none of my friends play it.
Would love to join
I miss playing d2 with my boy. Me and him got hella close on that game, grinded pretty much everyday and night during summer and did raids and everything. It was crazy coordinating with randoms and raids became so fun. I miss you bro and am happy for the moments we made on destiny 2
same - i just completed my first ever solo flawless gm last week and im so happy i finally did it, im not the best but i do everything solo, legend campaigns, solo dungeons, i think its just a matter of time, i guess people have moved on, and some of us stay behind, its fun! but does get to you soon enough, stay strong fellow titan, love your gameplay, and yeah - see you around guardian.!
Yo yo, im a legacy destiny player. What i mean by that is i played up until forsaken and stopped after that. I been thinking of coming back to the game, would u recommend it?
@@Iqaruz most likely definitely you should - while many players have been leaving, there is still alot of new content they have added after forsaken, like witch queen story, which gives you access to crafting your weapons, you could also play lightfall expansion, which does give you access to the strand subclass, which is very very cool! - although the campaign is quite negatively received to players, but now we have teh final shape expansion which is a conclusion to the light and darkness saga with an amazing story, and amazing new subclass called prismatic, which basically lets you mix and match abilites from all your other subclasses into one, smoke bomb from void hunter with swarm grenade on solar hunter - boom you can have it in one subclass, pretty cool! - the episodic content has been kinda alright, we are going into a new "episode" - basically another season, so that sounds kinda fun! - although this sounds all good, you would have to pay for the witch queen, lightfall and final shape expansions to get access to all these cool features, which is hefty price and annoying :( - but in the long term, its kinda kinda worth it to have fun - like alot of fun! - however if you are free to play, well, theres not thaaat much new content to actaully play - even dungeons you have to pay 2000 silver to buy :( - but yeah im sure youll have fun in whatever decision that u do, see you around guardian!
If your on shoot me a line, fire team finder doesn't always work out.
@@Iqaruzdon't waste your time.
@@IqaruzHell no. Everything D2 was downhill.
Zhalo Supercell. Favorite D1 PvE weapon.
It's how it was near the end, guild fell apart, friendships grew further and further out due to gear drops, and content started to run dry, eventually you just move onto the next thing that will keep your attention, to distract you miss VOG runs or night fall runs for gally doesn't hit the same anymore
One of my greatest gaming memories will be when I got Gally to drop from Atheon on VoG. Everyone was screaming down their mics and freaking out with me and I jumping up and down in one of the most purest moments of joy I’ve ever known.
I remember getting Gally in D1 from Xur like the first or second week he sold it for strange coins. Good days. Can’t believe it’s been 11 years since D1 released.
When this is your current D2 experience
I solo’d every nightfall every week of D1 from Crota to D2
I made solo nightfall guides when I was like 11. Or atleast finished one.
One of my biggest memories was that I always wanted the Thunderlord but didn’t want to buy it off of Xur, because the drop was more exciting. People thought I was crazy. But I solo nightfall’d the Archon Priest for the first time and it dropped for me.
Did u hid under the stairs sweet spot and shoot him? 😂
@@mikec7266 More like the top of the rock when you fist come in
I almost tear up watching d1 clips , those days were so pure i wish I could have appreciated it more in those moments but god damn I’m lying if I said I wouldn’t go back to that time in a heartbeat.
My partner and I have been playing together since cross play was out during season of the lost. We were long distance at the time. We live together now and finishing final shape with her was a very emotional thing for us. Playing without her these days just isn't the same without her.

Most of my homies peaced out after about month 1-2 of D2. I played and took a break after month 3 of D2 and played like 2 weeks of the Curse of Osiris expansion, then bailed for about 1 year and a couple months...Came back for season 8 (Undying) after one of those buddies returned and encouraged me to rejoin the grind...And I've stayed on since up to the present day. Another one of tgose buddies joined in for a couple years, but he left it all behind for good and became a successful family man with a great job.
Saw all those friends grow up and become families and move on with their lives...Sad but awesome.
Loving Destiny still, but skeptical of its Frontiers future...And sharing SOME of the sentiment from the vocal community on issues with Bungie and the game.
But I just appreciate what it's done for me over the decade. Helped me through alot and honestly saved me more money than I have spent on expansions + Eververse imo keeping me hooked tbh.
Met a few new friends but mostly been playing solo again... The buddy that bright me back into Destiny for season 8 returned and we finished the dungeon doubles style up until the final encounter/boss then got a 3rd and cleared it.
I wish ALL my old buddies and clan members were still engaged. We had the tightest friendship and some awesome group chat moments and we even unloaded songs and soundboards while we were raiding or whatever.
We literally played the 11-hour saxophone guy video throughout the entirety of Vault of Glass and cracked up the whole time bc we were insane like that.
Good times.
I got a friend into D1 a week ago and so far he and I are having a blast, though I do miss my old clan it's a lot of fun having someone to play this game with me again
Move on, brother. There's other games out there. Great games. Three games I wish I could go back and experience for the first time again:
Astroneer
Enshrouded
Conan Exiles
Hi, would you like to join us on PS4? I've been playing destiny 1 again for 2 weeks now, but as when I was playing back then, I always played alone 😥 it would be so cool if we could play all
the 3 of us! Just to catch up when we're connected at the same time!
@IntegrityGames I mean, people can try games. I gave Warframe a chance, and that games like 11 years old, and I absolutely love it.
And people still play GTA 5 so it's honestly not that big of a deal.
@ Just play the other games brother
@@IntegrityGames I do. Who said I didn't? I literally told you that I've been trying out Warframe.
Una delle cose che mi piace un sacco é la scelta della musica per i tuoi video...creano quel atmosfera nostalgica un po triste per le cose belle vissute che grazie a te ci ricordiamo...
stammi bene fratello grazie
Destiny not getting a third game was not part of its destiny... its heart breakibg that it wont get a third game. Its heart breaking that its over now. I miss it so much. All the people i talked to and played with, all the hours i spent grinding with them, all the nightfalls and raids. It was one of the greatest joys in my life. I loved every minute of it. I loved you guys and all our adventures together. Stay strong guardians!
My favorite ad clear weapon
I remember that ogre was a ass to kill back in the day now you walk in its done.
Just started playing a month ago. Absolutely overwhelmed by info and DLC, and still solo-ing everything. Friends, ya boi needs help
D2 is very confusing honestly if you’re new. Are you talking d1 or d2? I can help you with D1 lol
Dude, my friend and myself still play this game from time to time. D1 is an awesome game and had a lot of cool memories ❤
I played destiny 2 consistently from 2020 until mid 2022. I got back this month and all my friends got married have kids and will be soon joining them. But when I logged in I remember our jokes, conversations and our time playing together and it was fun. Now, all I hear is silence and the orbit music and most of them are offline for months. Enjoy the moment guys, all that remains is a memory.
Running D1 now feels like im hitting an old drug after I was clean for 5 years. It feels good still but not as good as the first time
Pretty much the first week of every new game I get; you're playing and having fun with your friends in a game they wanted you to download and enjoy with them only to see them just leave after the week has passed, thus leaving you to live that solo life
Thanks. It's almost 1am and I'm in my feels
I did solo so many time in the past and still am solo to this day
My friends usually abandoned me in these endeavors. But it molded me into THE guardian.
Dang this has been me for years. Wish all my buddies still played 😥
Honestly, the thrill of finishing a solo run is amazing but i would always trade that to be able to play raids with friends. I was always with my buddy in destiny, looking for a 3rd but never being successful.
Now we may have found one, hoping he is gonna stay active.
Still, highest regards and congratulations to all the solo guardians out there!
This brought back so many fond memories snd not so very fond memories but mostly good ones
Love that strike. Wish they would remaster D1 so badly. Gg
This is already in D2 and it's a strike on the moon
@Warlord97. This strike is not in D2. The only strike on the moon in D2 is The Scarlett Keep. This is not that. This strike is called The Summoning Pits in D1. You can go to the summoning pits in D2, but theres no strike or nightfall.
@@j.s.8583 you're wrong. It's a nightmare hunt on the moon which is basically a strike. Same location, same encounters/path, same boss fight.
D1 solo gm nightfall were peak, back when they gave you the flaming skull.
It’s sad how true this is
My entire d1 experience
I remember when he was named Phogoth...Man, that was a whole lifetime ago.
Back when things were simpler. I don't bother trying to solo anything in destiny 2 because I know I can't
I remember a guy with who i was used to play with Army of Two online on PS3, i was like 10 when we played together for the last time. Today im 22 and i never saw him connect on PlayStation again like during 8 years or more. I don’t know if he’s still alive or a dad now or anything. I hope he is okay and living a good life. It was fun he was carrying all my games and always accepted my invitation when i wanted to play with him.
I'M RIGHT THERE WITH YOU BRO
Remember when a Warlock first solo’d Aetheon?
Self res was everything
@ it was.
Zhalo so satisfying. Like an Arc AK47/MP40/AUG hybrid.
Good times.
The solo finish is satisfying
It is. But then you get like, absolutely nothing and just 😞
Stopped playing for a long time when my old clan all quit. Just went back to D2 recently and some friends saw that I was on and joined up so we started a new clan and just been chillin. Destiny has its problems but the core of the game is so much fun.
Always has been a solo game for me and that's just how i like it
💯
I still hop on a couple dozen times a year and I really enjoy the game. Miss those memories.
I remember playing Destiny before the April update and it was like this
Didn’t think it would ever happen again until now
I feel this, after 1,039,000 kills on my account. There’s no one else on
Solo player as well. I used to play with a large group but most have stopped playing. I still hop on every day. I’ve been trying to hop on with newer players through the group finder to help show them the ropes. yeah it has its flaws but I’m still in love with the game. But most of the time it’s just me. Sometimes it can be kind of lonely 😞 but like I said, I still love ya Destiny.
Lost my raid team after one of the homies moved in highschool. After that I solo’d everything. Joined randoms raid teams seeing how different everybody played but I was universal key. D1 was the last game I had a real connection with community wise
Miss d1 man, had so many great memories playing it..
The summoning pits and zhalo supercell.
I used to play alot with my bro steven. We lived close together so he would come over with his playstation and we would play destiny alot
But life happens. You dont have alot of time to game anymore if at all.
But i always remember the great times i had with him, Playing destiny or just hanging around in general
I miss the gold old days when I would solo nightfalls with icebreaker just for fun
Jumped on D2 for about 30 mins yesterday, missed the gunplay, just can’t play any longer than that, it’s been about 3 months since I played, hopefully they do something to make me want to play again. I watch videos hoping to see something exciting
This used to be my Tuesday, home from school and solo the nightfall with Datto’s vid in the back
I played for a long time solo as my clan got all weird, miss it sometimes, defo miss the game but since you can't do much solo I can't be bothered with the solo grind anymore.
Just started playing d2 a seasoned d1 player and man I feel lost after putting the game down for so long I reminisce about the rando Raid partys not even getting it done folks just dropping out sitting in the sol just talking bull with buddies who I didn’t even know miss them times that seem thell never come back salute from Sauce3nugget
Man. Whenever I see old Destiny gameplay, I always turn into my younger 11 year old self again. And it always makes me cry. Cause I miss the good times of not worrying about anything In the world besides getting to light level 30. And doing all raids with my homies. Man time is flying. Much love to all the homies out there. 🎉
Damn destiny is your childhood game? Damn that makes me feel old.
@ I mean, yeahhh lol, my bad homie, don’t mean to make ya feel old, but I played mostly Destiny, any other game at the time wasn’t as interesting
@ nah, its just i played d1 alot in college and forgot it came out that long ago.
Me with all the exotic missions. Stay strong guardians
Been there man, it’s sad and I finally let the game go after final shape.
I was in a 65 guardians clan and in the end only 3 or 4 played once or twice a week 😔. I start a clan with my 3 kids and myself. Not a lot but everyone play and I can give and have some help 😁.
I stopped playing because I had to solo everything, and it got exhausting. It slowly stopped being fun. The gameplay loop that got me hooked was I would grind PVE activities for godroll pvp weapons. Eventually I woke up and realized that PVP was never going to be what I was hoping for. Now I haven't played in over 6 months
Never stop posting please
I used to play this game with my best friend/room mate for unending hours. Then he moved out and things got complicated. Then he lost his life to mental illness during Covid. I play it with my wife now, wishing he was there to meet her and play with us.
I'll get a friend here and there. We'll grind for a few weeks and theyll disappear, never to be heard from again. Most of destiny 2 has been solo for me.
Looks like he’s warming up for a raid with the fellas, the homies always got time for raid
Zhalo supercell my beloved
Been playing solo since destiny 1 release. Not always about not having friends, Sometimes a gamer just prefers to be alone in their escape.
MEMORIES!! I soloed this nightfall with the same super, 10 years ago! My first. At the end id hide in the back right corner, pop the bubble at the right time, and LETS GOOO!!!
I used to do Alak'Hul and the garden one by myself on D1. That was fun. It was a challenge each week for myself to see if I could get high points...haven't tried d2 yet..maybe some day! Lol
Miss these times
Makes me think about those fantasy anime or shows or RPGs where adventurers register with a guild. You get a team of 4-5 members and each person specializes into something extremely niche and unviable solo to fill gaps the team needs, but with the absence of even one member, the team falls apart because it can no longer fill that gap. Not only that, but the one person has to retire cuz they can't make income cuz they can't solo a dungeon or labyrinth.
I'm still paying destiny 1 the best game of all time
they never will but just imagine they added infinite ammo to d1
Got replaced in my active raid group by a girl half way thru D1, I’ve been traversing these planets alone ever since
You should join my discord server. It’s an active LFG community for d1. I’ve found numerous groups in it and everyone is pretty chill honestly.
Oh this hurts 😢
Man i miss the zalo supercell
Started on D1 with my friend group and slowly, everybody left one by one. I still talk to them every other day but they left destiny and here I am still holding on. I started this game when I was 15 back on D1 and now I’m 23 going on 24. Taken King era was legendary even house of wolves and dark below but now I just play comp crucible by myself hoping I get that feel of the old days wishing I can play in a fire team again in comp or even trials.
I do both but playing by myself made me a better player by understanding by myself is much easier 💯
Damn that made me tear up a little
The nostalgia of seeing Zalo Supercell
This d1 raid was so easy to do
You know, when TFS dropped it was kind of cinematic for me, because I started D2 alone, did all the missions solo, and through my journey I made some friends, but I finished the campaign solo again just like how I started all the way back in Witch Queen
I miss when destiny had a soul. I still revisit here and there
Destiny 1 nightfalls yes I used to do it all the time, Destiny 2 its kinda 50 50. Shoot I used to solo Crota but they changed the opening skip and all this other stuff. I wasn't on Xbox anymore to revisit it so its whatever but I did miss out on that snow area. When they did the SIVA enemies or whatever it was called.
We still have a large community in D1 bro. Just contact anyone in the tower who's 400 Power. We got you bro
I used to solo the nightfalls all the time in destiny and I tried going back last month just to see if I could still do it and no I failed miserably lol
The time limit makes it harder, I miss when that wasn’t a thing tbh.
Towards the end of Destiny 1 I would solo the Nightfalls all the time even though I had online friends 💪🏽😎💯
The ones that quit were never your friends bro. Let that sink in
They definitely were. Just a different life.
We just find another game when we're done with it or play a classic. Hosting a BO2 server today to play Party Games. Going to be a blast.
The first boss, i remember how tough golgoroth was
As someone that played near a decade on both D1 and D2 I was always solo
Of course. It’s what we all did back in the day. Soloing nightfalls was the norm for the top
I know this feeling, last guardian in my original clan in D1.
I can never solo content like this I get
To a point then I have to stop
The layouts
The designs
The sounds were so much better in D1
The realist shit ever, half the time I’m like “damn if my 2 homies was here we would be done by now” 😔😂
Oh boy the blue flame over the head and having 3 of the same class and having to clear everything 3 times in the row for maximum gains…good times man I honestly miss it.
