Junk Journal Folio Tutorial - Loads of Pockets and Page Options!

- Today we are making a Junk Journal Folio! In this tutorial I used the Casa Granada Collection by Stamperia. The Christmas Folio was made with Classic Christmas collection, also by Stamperia.
Measurements are all in inches!
Pages:
12 x 9 folded in half
11 x 8 folded in half
10 x 12 Score at 4 inches on 12 inch side. Fold up to make pockets. Fold in half.
7 x 12 Score at 1 1/2 inches and 10 1/2 inches on the 12 inch side. Fold to make side pockets and then fold in half.
FLIP OUT Page:
8 3/4 x 6 Score at 1/2 inch on the 6 inch side
Other pockets:
Front Cover Pocket 5 3/4x3 1/4
Triangle pockets:
ONE 4 inch Square cut on diagonal
ONE 5 inch Square cut on diagonal
Belly Band One: 1 1/2 x 7
Three Small stacking pockets : 1 1/4 x 3
Side Load pocket: 2 1/2 x 7 1/2
Belly Band Two: 2 1/4 x 8 1/2

Following like a zealot, step-by-step. You see, I’m gonna use this as a birthday card for my daughter next week. She loves anything/everything having to do with Japan, so have piles of Asian art/Stamperia/Etsy…anyway, I searched and searched for a neat folio idea to use as a birthday card of sorts-this was just tooooo perfect! Thank you for how you give directions as well. I create digital papers but have only just begun trying my hand at junk journals. So, with all the times I’ve had to restart/ keep what I can/begin again, I sure appreciate how easy your ‘classes’ are. Again, thank you.

This is so pretty! I love to watch you create. I have watched a few videos since I followed you from Anna's channel. I, too, have a big pad of this same Stamperia cardstock. I think I went back for the background paper, too. Then I was hesitant to actually use it. LOL. Just was not certain what to create. Oh, by the way, Stamperia pronounces their name Stam-per-REE-a which sounds like Pizzaria. So I go back and forth, not sticking to one pronunciation. 🤣🤣Cuz my brain fluctuates daily.

I love this. I just wish really good quality and pretty papers like stamperia weren't so expensive in australia. Not sure what else I could use.
I am glad you like this folio! The Stamperia paper is definitely beautiful! You could try using any scrapbook paper you have and then decorate it. Good luck!
Love this folio. Do you have a trick for fussy cutting? I shake so bad and I find it mess up with my cutting. Joy of getting older - Im 53yr but my shaking is bad because it runs in our family. Thank you for doing this tutorial. 💚

Fussy Cutting can be a chore! I wish I had a simple suggestion. I do have a Cricut and I use it sometimes for fussy cutting. There is a way to upload the files to Cricut Design Space (the software program) and then use the print & cut feature. Once you learn to use it, it can be a game changer. I know there are other cutting machines out there, but I’m only familiar with Cricut. If you search on UA-cam there are videos showing how to do this. You may want to watch before deciding if a cutting machine is the way to go.

Hello, I’m new to your videos here on UA-cam and I’m enjoying them very much. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas with us. I’m having a problem with glue bottles. I originally started with the sugar belle bottles to hold my Fabri-Fix glue which is very thick and was looking for something smaller. I recently purchased Crafters Companion very small glue bottles and I use the same Lineco glue as I see on your videos but it leaks out of the side of the lid. I’m getting very discouraged. On your Amazon list you have a few different types of small size glue bottles and I just don’t know which to try. Please help me to keep crafting and not give up.

I hate that you are having trouble with your glue!! That’s so frustrating. I use the Sugar Bell bottles for my Fabri-Fix glue. I haven’t found any smaller type of bottle that will work with it. If I do, I will let you know.
For the LineCo PVA glue here are the bottles I use. I haven’t had them leak, so hopefully they will work for you!!
