"Chase me" was their debut, released on January 13th (a Friday), 2017. It must have been nerve-wrecking for the members, re-debuting with a genre that is not popular in Korea after Minx failed. (5 of them were Minx before.) But they already doubled their sales with this. And they stuck with the Rock/Metal vibe until today, now selling 50 times the albums than Minx did. This is the start of the Nightmare arc, which spans 6 MVs and 1 Japanese release. They are Nightmares here, and the Nightmare hunter is trying to dispel them - how that turns out is shown in the next one, Good Night. Remember the ending here for when you react to Good Night!
I really glad you're going to go through their Discography, it's fantastic. They started out with diversity of sound baked into their DNA and it only continues to expand from here on out, as you've seen from the Villains album. Just as an FYI, there are special clips for a bunch of b-sides. Emotion has one, where they're singing live. The next album has one for Lullaby. Pretty much every album has at least one with some having multiple. Looking forward to Fall Asleep in the Mirror.

There is never "official" lore from the company and the stuff Insomnia makes up can't even agree on what order the story happens so don't stress about understanding "the lore" because there are multiple versions (example: the events of You and I obviously follow right after Fly High about 100 years ago, but some versions of lore will tell you two other videos taking place in modern times happen between them).

And if you think they look young in "Chase Me", take the plunge and go back to their previous incarnation as Minx (2014-15) - blonde short-hair SuA will never come again! If you're interested in going ALL IN on Dreamcatcher, beyond the albums, DEFINITELY explore the special clips and covers they have consistently released between comebacks that both showcase the group's growth as well as giving us solo and unit performances. The first of these is their performance cover of Maroon 5's "Lucky Strike", which was released in February 2017, just six weeks after debut.
Their Lucky Strike cover is one of their best covers to date (though their Bang Bang Bang is in a class of its own... Dami's intro is mind-blowing). Going back to Minx a.) is NOT optional--missing out on Siyeon's high notes in Why Did You Come to My Home is a bad mistake, b.) gives you a whiplash. I have nothing against the Minx-era songs (though I definitely prefer Dreamcatcher), but especially in the video for Love Shake Dami is basically styled like a kid (she was 18 I think, but she looks way younger than that). I dunno, it just feels unpleasant and I can totally understand why Dami was never at ease with the role as maknae. Then again, unlike in Dreamcatcher's music videos, with Minx you get to fully enjoy JiU's sunshine smile. I bet that if Doctor's would prescribe 15 minutes of JiU smile per day there would be a lot more happiness in this world. On the other hand you can get that from watching Dreamcatcher's Note.
Fyi, Emotion has a Special Clip. A few of their B-sides have Special Clips. Every album has at least one ballad or ballad like song. For a suggestion, finish the first half of the Nightmare arc; continuing with 'Fall Asleep in the Mirror' which has TT 'GOODNIGHT', than 'Prequel' album with TT 'Fly High' (hint it's a prequel story-wise to Chase Me & Goodnight). Than hit up their first anniversary single 'Full Moon', which has a performance video. Than go back, as others have asked/stated, and hit up Minx (if you are interested in that). Than continue on with whatever strikes your fancy. From my understanding 80-90% of hidden vocals and ad-libs were Siyeon or their producer Leez (if he worked on the song) in their first 3 years (2017-2019).

The girls see him as a threat and seek to force him out through haunting him and confusing him. As the storyline continues the girls try to get out of the nightmares they have been trapped in. In the final installment their fate is a bit vague but in the Japanese release ‘Breaking Out’ they do get out, this release being an alternate ending to the storyline. I look forward to your reactions going forward. Don’t forget to never skip the intro. What you have heard is true; their intros are some of the best in the industry.
