Lots of good information. Thanks for all the good content. Always learn something.
Thank you for watching!
There’s one more video you could make and that is to have a qualified hypnotist do a session to remove the concept of TP or any other form of performance anxiety. I guarantee some form of anxiety has cost more performance inadequacies than many other conditions. I know there are thousands of people that can shoot superbly at places they are mentally comfortable with but put them in another situation and anxiety easily arises seemingly out of nowhere. Performance failure in front of others is the answer I get when I talk to archers. Anyway, waiting on that vid. 👍👍
I’ve developed the closed loop system on my Wise Choice. It’s the newer one with no travel only tension adjustment. I can wrap my thumb around the knob and the tip rests on the release. The knob rests in the same spot invariably. With a heavier tension I find that causes the pin to settle into its smallest float. From practically the second the pin is on the target spot area or the spot I’ve already begun to pull loading up the energy. Into my fingers. I don’t give my thumb any commands to move. Just pulling which has already started. I rarely even think of the release as I’m totally focused on the target spot. When it all comes together the arrow will hit behind the pin. I’ve noticed to 40 yards( which is where I can see the pin location) my shots will nearly always break when the pin is in the lower left area of the target spot. In that last microsecond as the release fires the pin automatically is going center. My shots come without any conscious commands at the shot. I’m just pulling and focusing. Another very informative video from you. Some awesome info. 👍👍
This Shot Execution series has such so much details that I need to watch them all over!! Thanks Robert!! maybe you could cut these videos into a shorter 5-10 minutes clip??
I appreciate you watching them!
How do you do the pay thing where you can check out my form and I can ask questions. Thanks
Great series. I’m a 65 year old female hunter. I have struggled with target panic FOREVER. I have switched from a trigger to an inexpensive thumb button. I am looking for a more adjustable release that is 4 finger and has a better fit for smaller hands. And recommendations?
I polled everyone on my Instagram and I got a ton of responses for the Stan PerfeX and the Stan OnneX in Small or XS. These are both thumb releases and have adjustable triggers for where they get to your thumb and pressures to fire. You can also change from a 3 or 4 finger on this release as well.
@@rcrchery thanks for the reply. I really appreciate all your knowledge and expertise
You're welcome. I wasn't for sure the best release so I asked around to try to help you the best I could. @@swampmom7507
