The veil they used in the boutique to seal the bridal vision was absolutely perfect and everything i was looking for... but it was $250! I'll be using this tutorial to recreate it! Let's just hope i can get the motivation to sew on all those pearls by november.
@@theresalwaysroom4 your video inspired me to get materials this week, and i bet i can plop myself down in front of the tv and power through pretty quick!
Thank you so much for walking me through the process so easy. I was so panicking about how I was going to do this for my daughter since she asked me to make hers for her, and like a mom, I wanted to do the best for her. thanks so much for making this look so simple. Congrats on you're sister. I hope she has a life filled with love and blessings.
this is such a sweet message! thank you for taking the time to comment, it really means a lot to me! i am sure the veil you make will turn out beautifully! Congrats on your daughter's wedding!
My wedding in is two and a half months and I realized this morning I had never ordered my veil. And now it would be too late. Your video helped me feel confident I can do this myself. I don't think I will add all the pearls but was thinking I could do them along the bottom few inches.
i'm so glad you feel confident after watching this video! and you might surprise yourself with how many pearls you can add, once you get the hang of it! early congratulations to you on your wedding!!
Thank you for sharing your tutorial step by step and i really love it!! I have been wanting to make my own veil for my wedding but i have zero knowledge on sewing. Your video will absolutely helps me a lot! Thank you ❤️🌈

You did a lovely job and the hand-stitching it makes it so nice I would like to suggest that aleene's Jewel it glue dries clear and you just need a little dab and you put your Pearl on and you can't even see it when it dries of course it's not nearly as nice as what you did but there's a hard to tell the differences
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I think for any other outfit or costume i would have definitely used aleene’s glue :) but for my sisters wedding i guess part of me wanted to throw my blood sweat and tears into something for her big day:)
Hello I loved your veil I am French, I would like if you allow me to ask you a question how many pearls did you put on the veils of your beautiful sisters in advance thank you
hi cristina! once you get the hang of sewing them, it goes by relatively quick, and it all depends on just how many beads you want on there. i'd say total hours of sewing would be around 24-36 (we used a LOT of beads!) but keep in mind a lot of it was "passive activity" meaning- i would sew these things on while i was watching tv at night! if you make a goal of sewing 10-20 beads in each day you'll be able to reach your goal quicker : ) for me it was definitely worth it to make it and save the money! but also it was nice to have a personal touch from me on my sister's wedding day! : ) good luck! feel free to message me at theresalwaysroom4@gmail.com if you need any help!
Amazingly done!!!! Just had my daughter’s appointment at the same bridal shop. We forgot to have her try on a veil and was asking what the price was…hmmm thankfully your video came of first when inquiring on a DYI veil:=))

If you start now and do maybe an average of 8-10 pearls each day or so, you can definitely have it done before november🥰!!!

Incredible job! And such an informative video too. Thanks for taking the time to show tulle vs. mesh.

Hello I loved your veil I am French, I would like if you allow me to ask you a question how many pearls did you put on the veils of your beautiful sisters in advance thank you
Thank you so much for watching! My guess is about 175-200 pearls!
Beautiful 😊❤
I'm debating doing this to save a few hundred dollars. How many hours would you say it took to sow on the pearl beads?

The first 30 seconds of the video made me cry. 🤍

thank you so much!! i hope your DIY veil comes out great : )
So which one is better? Tull or mesh ?
really depends on if you want a softer, more flowy veil (go with mesh) or a more stiff/structured veil (go with tulle)! hope that helps!
Me. A twin watching this to try to make my twins veil
It’s beautiful!
thank you!!!! : )
which material that you use to making her veil? mesh or tulle?
I chose the mesh because i wanted it to be flowier! The tulle had a little more structure
Can I find the material at hobby lobby
Yes!! You can ask for a fine mesh, or a flowy bridal tulle!
Thank you!! It’s beautiful
thank you!!
Genius!!!!
What kind of thread did you use?
Hi! I just used regular/all purpose thread!
What size did you make your vail?
hi patty! i made this fingertip length!
-45 inches + 5 inches extra**
Thank you for this! Is the one you made from tulle or mesh?
Hi! Thank you for watching! I picked mesh for the flowiness☺️! The tulle my store had was a little too stiff!
@@theresalwaysroom4 amazing thank you I’ve ordered some to give it a go!!
