Yay! Thank you for posting this. I’ve been searching for this particular episode of Austin City Limits for years! Believe it or not, I actually remember watching this very episode almost 25 years ago. Watching this very show made me a Sheryl Crow fan since 1997. Hearing Sheryl’s amazing voice and that well-played dobro bass guitar is just so very satisfying. These songs are true classics of the late 90’s era.

Sheryl's voice is like wine, it gets better as the years go by. I believe that her voice reached maximum vocal harmony after the age of 35. However, this rock version of Sheryl is interesting

Do you have the full episode of Austin City Limits from Season 5 in 1980? The episode featured Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys, and Uncle Walt's Band; recorded on Betamax tape in 1980. It has the Southwest Texas Public Broadcasting Council logo, Austin City Limits Season 5 opening sequence, Lickona's introduction, closing with "London Homesick Blues", funding credits, and the 1971 PBS logo at the end.

I don't think they named the city for the wrestler, listen again . . . en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_F._Austin
Steve Austin was also the name of The Six Million Dollar Man, an old TV series, played by Lee Majors ua-cam.com/video/0CPJ-AbCsT8/v-deo.html

I have acrid breath. Heavy with the smell of coffee and nicotine. If you had me whispering up close and personal you may even say "strong". Does that count? Asking for a friend.
