The generosity and camaraderie of the GW2 community, the willingness to help each other out and lift each other up, is truly breathtaking to me. I started playing right after you started the saga and have been following it ever since. Leaving my first comment here. I like that commentary that it's the daily stuff that gets you to your goals. That's a wise way to live life--just have the grit to do the daily maintenance. Great finale, looking forward to season 2, and excited to see your take on Janthir!

Just wanted to say i really enjoyed the series and can’t wait for it to come back. Thanks to you i was able to get the confidence to do my first raid wing and complete it. Just wanted to ask a question do you transfer your ascended accessories to your other be characters if you’re not using a certain build like if Two characters use berserkers in their build do you just transfer it or get their own accessories. Anyway keep up the good work man.
So I typically don't transfer items between characters and instead get multiple ascended items. I still need a condi virt set, which would be huge for this account since that build isn't changing with the introduction to spears. Overall the difference between ascended and exotic isn't huge, so for general gameplay I typically stick with exotics for ease of gearing and then get ascended if that character will be doing fractals. For instance: power soulbeast would be getting ascended since it's a big time fractal build. While heal druid is less valuable because chrono or hfb is better in that content. Getting multiple sets isn't that challenging!
@@SilhouetteGaming1thanks for the advice i have multiple characters and didn’t know if i needed to get ascended or not but yeah gearing for the content that character is for seems to be a better way to do things. I’ll keep raiding i did wing 1 got to wing 2 and the first boss of that was my first wall so trying to get over that is my next goal. Also thanks for the advice of breaking up different projects into parts. I’m starting the envoy armor and now that don’t seem so intimating.
I'll definitely be dropping a "first impressions" this next Monday assuming I can make it through. I'm also going to be uploading a "no commentary" playthrough for those who want to know the story but don't want to purchase it.
This xpac is dropping right as school is getting back in session and life is busy as heck right now. I’m hoping we all can find time to play it. I have to buy it 4 times for my kids and I. 😬
hey sil, just caught the episodes! im curious, in your opinion, between mesmer guard and rev which will be the best zero to hero class now that u have some progress
Honestly any of the 3 would be a good choice. Overall mesmer is shaping out to be the most broken op class right now, but rev and guard are equally reliable and versatile. The reason I chose mesmer is because of the availability of both quickness and alacrity builds to make things easier to pug overall. If pugging instanced content is something you frequently do then mesmer is probably the best, in terms of general group play or open world play, I'd say rev is probably my favorite just run around class.
Most guilds would be willing to help with fractals, starting at Teir 1 is a good place to start that is low intensity. Then over time they get harder and require a more refined build.

@capolot yeah I play at 4-5am. You can always put a "T1 Dailies" into lfg. Someone will join. Worst case is you go in and die a couple times. No biggie:)
