👉 Everyone in Kazakhstan know this wonderful melody and now it is going around the whole world. The story of the 'River of Love' began in 2011 on an airplane as the famous Kazakh composer Renat Gaissin saw a large river when he looked out of the on-board window. Impressed, a melody emerged in his head and he wrote it down while on the plane. “For me, water has always been a source of life and infinite love. After I had composed the song, I realized that its melody was perfect for our folk instrument - the dombra, ” said Renat Gaissin (here, on Keyboard). Ten years later, Dimash happened to play the piece while the two friends were working together in the studio ... and as the composer says, 'with new breath'. The sound inspired Gaissin and he rearranged his piece of music. “On the same day, Dimash recorded the Dombra part and the work sounded absolutely fresh and stylish. He also added his own unique vocalizations that added even more emotion to the composition. I am very happy that “River Of Love” will now sound new, played by our Dimash ”, the author concludes. (dimashnews) Renat Gaissin is very picky about the artists he works with. The performers are scrambling for him, but he wants to do more than just sing or play his tunes ... and Dimash is his favorit and friend. I love this tune and I think it's great that Dimash isn't stealing the show from the original idea of putting the dombra in the spotlight. I also think it's clever that the video is only in black and white. That puts even more focus on the music. Dimash's vocalization remains discreetly in the background ... I have to say it again: I love this melody!!! - Here is a earlier production: ua-cam.com/video/z0ADpiejUgc/v-deo.html The great composer Renat Gaissin (keyboard) also created the masterpieces for Dimash * Qairan Elim - ua-cam.com/video/K45qdRAIWaM/v-deo.html * Өмір Өтер/ Life is Short - ua-cam.com/video/8VrEFpu4S8A/v-deo.html
I have a feeling you did not realize this was a beautiful instrumental...I usually recommend this video to reactors who are musicians....Renat and Dimash are long time friends and collaborators. Dimash surrounds himself with the most talented people, and because of Dimash's genius and loving qualities, they are happy to be there.
Strangely enough his aura or charisma is something we've been talking about in the fan groups today. He's currently judging a fashion event in Dubai, a country where he's not well known despite having held a concert there earlier this year. Everyone (and these are all rich and famous people at this event) are queueing to be photographed with him and talk to him and throughout it all he wears a smile of cheerful calmness, but still seems to physically dominate the room despite actually not being the tallest person in it for once. People are drawn to him, despite wealth or position, and he's gracious and well mannered, never ignoring anyone and making sure that everyone goes away feeling like they are the most important person in the room.
Very well put. He has a certain air of charisma where I could see people flocking to him in a room even without knowing his talents. Obviously has incredible fashion sense too and always looks great. 👌
They are very close friends and have known one another for a long time. Incidentally Dimash also played the percussion instruments as well as the vocals ooos and aaahs in the background.
Renat also composed one of Dimash’s original songs called Quarin Elim, that is also a masterpiece. Any of the performances you choose of this song are amazing, but the first to be released was the music video ua-cam.com/video/K45qdRAIWaM/v-deo.html that was Dimash’s Director Debut. Renat is a family friend of Dimash’s family.
The chorus is my mobile ring tone! I swear I make ppl wait long before I answer cuz I want to finish the note😂😂 brilliant composition.. Brilliant performance... Brilliant Dimash ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Renat released the original version of this music in 2011, and it became popular all over Kazakhstan. Apparently, he was inspired to rearrange it when he heard Dimash playing with it when they were working together. (Dimash added vocalisations in the background, which gave the piece new life.). There’s an article about it on Dimash News ...
I love Dimashs ability to work and collaborate with so many people. As the saying goes iron sharpens iron and these influences have obviously brought him a lot of success and have crafted him into someone to watch for years to come.
👉 The Dombra is a folk musical instrument widely used in Central Asia. It is made of wood and has a pear-shaped body with a long neck (only in Kazakhstan with frets) to which two gut strings are attached. The dombra can be rightly called the queen of Kazakh instruments since the XIX-th century. Dombra can be met in each yurta; it was referred to as one the most necessary and obligatory things in the life of Kazakhs. Although Kazakh musical instruments resemble those belonging to other tribes of the Central Asian ethnic group, they have their peculiarities dictated by national traditions. Today the dombra is a national symbol of the Kazakhs and Dimash said every Kasacian child learns this instrument. In many legends the heroes of successfully made use the ability to 'communicate without words: 'In spite of his father's prohibition the khan's son secretly went hunting. He met a herd of kulans and wounded the leader. Infuriated, Lame Kulan killed the youth with a stroke of the hoof. After waiting in vain for the return of his son from hunting, the khan declared that anyone who approached him with that estirtu (bad news) would be executed by pouring molten lead into the mouth. No one dared for a long time until an old dombrist (a person who plays the dombra) attempted. The sorrowful tune of the kyui was able to send this tragic message across to the khan. He ordered that the molten lead be poured into the dombra. That was how the opening in the upper sounding board of this musical instrument came about.
Thank you as always Tirallala! I enjoy the unique shape and sounds of the dombra from what I have heard from it so far and the legend and allure behind it as well as the history. Your comment is greatly appreciated as always :)
