We are taking everything from vital native biodiversity without the awareness that we are also directly taking from one another. Despite all our ecological destructions, nature still shows acceptance. Carbonworks creates music with humility and purpose.
Thank you to Allegra Havens, Jeff Phelps, Mike Stetina, Shea Roebuck, and Brian Stivale for their brilliant performances, to Johnny Terrell for his always amazing audio chemistry, and to Dave Plunkert, Jeremy Galante, and Raven Reyes for their stunning visual artistry. I'm not sure there is a happy ending on this one; let's view it as a call to action.
Amazing violin playing and composition made more powerful by suggestive and fascinating animation. In my mind, this piece turns the notion of “good night’s sleep” on its head, raising the specter of the disturbances of dreams, the unconscious, the heavy lifting done during our sleeping hours as our minds try to reframe and retake the day…thought provoking and beautifully crafted, both musically and visually.
Scorching fiddle by Allegra; typically great job by her. Artwork is disturbing, compelling. I love the way the rocks bounced when they struck the ground. A strong ray of hope at the end. I'd love to hear Dave and company explain this one.

Thank you, Bob! I'm still trying to sort out if it has a happy ending.
