Thanks once again Joel for your continued support of The Warning with your industry colleagues. Great to see that so many of them see similar things with the band that all us fans do.
He was head boppin along right away, and Pau made him smile many times. We knew he liked them before it was over. :) I was hoping you mentioned to him, that Paulina won the Modern Drummer Magazine readers poll, for Up & Coming this year. 🤟🔥🤘
John seems like a really cool dude, he would be a really good guest to have back. He also had some interesting comments on the various bands you introduced him to. Also, it's funny how people in the music industry never seem to have anything bad to say about The Warning after hearing them. It's almost as if "game recognizes game".
Daniella is fantastic on the guitar she not only plays the rhythm but she changes over and plays the lead so it is a little confusing if you've never seen them before but she is a very busy young lady. And she sticks with her sisters she doesn't go off on a big solo, She plays a good Griff a good solo short one every now And then. But Daniella is very good I didn't know how good till she was setting in the audience watching another band and they came out and gave her a guitar and she melted everybody's face❤❤❤
shout out to Eruca Sativa for that! it was very cool... also DPA/TW had been touring with them at that time... i believe it was called the "Power Trio Tour"... i forget the 3rd band's name, though...
Daniela is such an amazing singer and guitarist that she makes it seem like there's another guitar on the stage... But it's just pure genius that she possesses ... Simply the best !
Hey Joel! That was awesome! I think John my have been thinking of Fates Warning?? Maybe? They formed in the early 80s. Anyway, he seems like a cool guy! So glad you played him Disciple so he could see Dany and Pau singing!
Hah hah! You could see John's face light up as soon as Pau decimated the drums on that opening riff! I think he may be looking into more of our gals in the near future!😍 🤘😎🤘
Pau the drummer has said that she sings while running to help her build up her endurance but she only sings limited songs because singing and playing gets exhausting for her.
This band owns the registered trademark for "The Warning" in the U.S. for all media featuring music, recording and performances, and many types of apparel. Nobody else has an international trademark for "The Warning" so the band could get that as well, but it would require more licensing fees. I assume the first time they mount a large international tour they'll apply for more trademarks.
Joel, keep bringing more friends to be educated about The Warning. Members of TWA should always be spreading the love by introducing the band to new people.
Thanks Joel for supporting the Warning and introducing more people and friends to this great Band. Since I am a bit old there was a hardcore Punk Band from back in the 80's called "10 Minute Warning" from Seattle, do not think they lasted long though. Not sure if John Mahon may be referring to them or not. Anyway, great reaction. 🥰🥰
The name of the band came about when they entered a "battle of the bands" type competition and the other 3 bands had a name and they didn't have one. "The Warning" was going to be the name of their first album if they ever made one (they hadn't started writing their own songs yet) and they decided to use that as their band's name. They were going to change it but before they knew it everyone knew them as The Warning, so they kept it.
The “Superfecta” of Progressive Hard Rock, Hard Rock Trio, Progressive Groove Metal, and Power Metal: Band-Maid, The Warning, Jinjer, and Lovebites -- all pushing their core genres into the next realm! 🤘 🤘 🤘🤘 Thx, Joel!
Hey Joel, Great reaction as always. Thanks again for your support to The Warning. These 3 sisters are 🔥. For your information, they were a rock band called "Warning " in France in the 80's. They released 2 albums between 1980 to 1985 (french hard rock). Greetings from France, Gilles 🤟😉
For your convenience, here's a fan-created sequential playlist of ALL the clips from the Teatro Metropolitan concert, plus a link for the entire concert (all taken from the band's offical UA-cam channel). Fact is Elton John is quite open to 'up and comers.' So, I'm not surprised John, Elton's drummer, is also open to The Warning, today's best young band.
I like that John, he seems to be a very nice guy. Very relaxed and likes to joke. "Of course, everyone has heard of Lovebites". Suuuure man :) Now lets see, I am trying to guess what he will choose for John from Lovebites. Sometimes that is hard to do.
There was indeed a shortlived band called The Warning in the mid-80s. It was a christian influenced and arch-conservative hardcore punk band founded by christian metal underground legend David 'Burrito' Villalpando. He founded several bands like 'Moral Majority' (early 80s) and 'Eightball Cholos' (90s)'. He passed away last year of CoVid.
Ale wanted the name The Warning. Ale got the name The Warning. Which is too bad, cause I heard their Mom's idea for a name was The Peppermints, and I think that would have been amazing.
‘The Peppermints’ is too teeny-bopper-fine when they were young girls, but they wouldn’t have gotten the respect they deserve as they got older. ‘The Warning’ is badass--“we are Warning you about the evils of social media, the internet, not thinking for yourself…” It’s a MUCH better name, in my opinion. Alé was a force to be reckoned with even when she was just a child!
I love the reactions with ur friends. It seemed that he lit up over the transitions and Dany's glissando. I really like ur series w ur friends. I know they prolly won't want to too deep, but I'd be interested in hearing what caught their attention musically. Especially from the musicians u bring on. Keep on with The Warning.
I'm really liking John Mahon as a person and as a professional musician. He has such respect for the musicians he's being introduced to, even if they are playing music that is different to what he is familar with. This contrasts with a couple of the guests that have been on this channel that (to put it politiely) were a little on the elitist and arrogant side. I'm very happy that he is about to be introduced to LOVEBITES, and I'm hoping its Swan Song with the Chopin intro, so John can be introduced to the musical prodigy Miyako, as well as the elite talents of the other band members.

Drummers understand and respect the talent required to do what Pau does.
The rest of us are just in awe!
John has great taste! 🎉
That's what it all comes down to ❤
Pau has a very physical style of playing the drums, yet she is able to have the breath control to sing. These ladies are amazing.
I like this guy
Thanks once again Joel for your continued support of The Warning with your industry colleagues. Great to see that so many of them see similar things with the band that all us fans do.
Really great reaction, thanks for your support to "The Warning" ⚠️⚡😎🤘

John is such a nice guy Joel. 🤘😎
Very true.

You could tell he liked it by the way he was jamming over there especially during the chorus
Thanks for the exposure for the band. As an old saying goes "Game Recognizes Game". He seems like a pretty cool guy.
The man knows a great band when he sees one. 🖤TW⚡️🤘
John may be interested to know that Pau just recently won the Readers Poll 2023 for the "Up And Coming" in the Modern Drummer magazine as well.

There was a band that was a Van Halen motivated called Fair Warning
Excellent my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a well known band called "Fates Warning". I guess that's what your guest meant when he said there is another "Warning" band.
That's what I was thinking we he said, "something Warning."
