I honestly don’t care what other people say the song is still really sweet to me, I love to listen to it back to back, specially Mr. Barton’s part. Something about it feels charming
It can't, sadly. There was a promo disc for Dance of the Vampires with about 10 songs, which is very rare, but it only contains 1 and a half minute snippets. I've been hunting for 320 versions of these songs since my early 20s.
Nope, was actually the original, to my surprise also, I just went to show my Brother this song was about Vampires, only to find out the song by Bonnie Tyler was taken from an old play.
This IS a demo. Steve Barton who starred in the original production of Tanz der Vampire speaks both fluent English and German, so Jim Steinmam got him and Elaine Caswell in to sing examples of the english translation of the musical for the upcoming production on Broadway. Sadly much was changed and it was a complete bomb.
Yeah that's not the first time Jim Steinman took his songs from a musical and gave it to someone. Believe it or not Bat Out of Hell was written for a musical before the Meat Loaf album, Neverland

The only one.
RIP!
What CD can this song be found on? Thank you in advance for letting me know.

GTA V REALISM It’s funny because this song was written by an American for the German musical and then was a popular hit by the Welsh Bonnie Tyler.
