Thanks so much for the mention! Would love to see what 2.2s do on that. Really glad those shocks worked for you. You’re gonna give that Capra a run for it’s money.
Nice. I discovered this trick a while back, now I run 110mm shocks on all my rigs. Traxxas has the best 110mm shocks on the market. Yours are far too stiff right now though. The trick is make them soft so that the vehicle runs at stock or almost stock ground clearance. So you get the benefit of better suspension flex, without sacrificing your center of gravity. And when you get hung up, the shocks will still drop down to their full length to give you traction and get you over obstacles. Try running them with the softest springs and see if you like it more. Problem with desert lizards is they're not very tunable. Whereas traxxas 110mm shocks not only have multiple different spring options, but also has threaded shock bodies to make very fine adjustments based on your weight distribution. Please don't take it as me being arrogant. I love your channel, and I've spent a lot of time figuring out ideal suspension setups. Just wanted to share some tips :)
i have the same rig with 120 mm desert lizards in the rear with shock keys...and the stock 90mm shocks in the front,,,and the flex is great...the 90mm smaller shock in the front keeps your rig from wanting to lift your shocks away on a incline crawl, almost acts like a limiter strap if you will
A great free upgrade: you tuck the rear bumper real easy and gain a good bit of clearance. Well worth the effort of just a lil trimming!! Hope this helps
Nice!! Looks really good with the metallic red behind the wheels. I also run 110mm KINGS shocks on my GMade Komodo, the shocks are by RC4WD. Very good shocks, can recommend them. 😊☺️
Great progress over stock!! I haven’t had mine long and mine makes the same chattering sound on throttle. I disconnected the front driveline and the noise went away. Is that chatter something to worry about?

Thanks Neo!!! We appreciate them sooo much!!

Jb weld is great. I jammed some of the putty in my ryft diffs to make them solid and so the would stop slipping lol

Add the 2.2's and that's pretty much a Gladiator "High Trail"! I dig it!

Get the bowhouse mount for the new axle housing it’s a good cheap upgrade that’ll prevent that from happening again

That is one capable machine right there🤘
That was a very generous upgrade! That bumper is killing your departure angle though. 🤓
YES AND YES!
Would you happen to have a link to these shocks? What do you recommend on settings for the gladiator?
