watching this, i kept on feeling like "now it's gonna show up.... now it's gonna show up... now it's gonna show up..." and instead of the horror of experiencing it firsthand you just feel the suspense of waiting for it to happen, making the final reveal of something wicked showing up feel even more scary, the pacing of it speeding up and so much communicated with just louder footsteps and moving faster, really cool
thank you... I was kinda nervous before I uploaded this because I had no idea if people would be scared by it. I haven't really done anything like this before, so I was just using knowledge from horror movies and videos I've seen to try to make it scary. The worst part is that since I animated every second of it, I knew everything that would happen in it, so when I was editing it, I couldn't tell if I wasn't scared by it because it wasn't scary, or because I made it.
Anything moving at max speed in my direction is scary, like, imagine a frog sprinting instead of jump and you hearing *plap* *plap* *plap* at max speeding coming to your direction

And thus, the machine has escaped from God's most dangerous living weapon. But stand on high alert, my angel comrades. *The machine wasn't the only thing that escaped...*
Cool idea ngl, would also be handy to tie up loose ends. V1 killed almost everything, but the little he didn't will be wiped off the map by Something Wicked.
I just realized something. Something Wicked is the only thing v1 hasn't been able to kill (besides Gabriel, but he has plot armor), and is also the only enemy that can instakill v1, making it stronger than even Minos and Sisyphus.
@@DoublePiggy isn't it said in the lore somewhere where God created something wicked, and it was so strong God had to lock it up? Hakita could've done this with the newest Minotaur enemy, but something wicked.. *Is truly wicked*
Something Wicked is so scary because it preys on our fear of the unknown. We don't know what it is, we don't know why it is here, we know nothing about it, it's just... Something Wicked. And this way comes it.
Fun fact: the cerberuses usually have a orange/yellow orb that they are holding attacking or not like the one in 2:42, but in-game the same cerberus is not holding a orb and he is sitting in a dark room with corridors in front of him, he's probably to nervous or scared to keep focus and patience to create an orb (like the terminal says) and is standing completely still maybe to make something wicked think that he's part of the place and not attack him

Even if I did decide to give v1 the gun, I wouldn't make him use it, because the level isn't scary after you can shoot the wicked easily. Second, I thought making it crawl would be even scarier because when I played the level for the first time (and I'm sure a lot of other players had this experience), I would hide in the vent part, because it can't go in there. So if someone did that, and then watches the video, they will think v1 is safe in the vents, until the camera turns around and it is 1. in the vents and 2. crawling like a spider.
