I find sardines are super attractive bait but aren't picker resistant. The addition of Chokka is a great idea. Chokka often have fish in their bellies so it's a perfect bait imo. These videos are great. I'm like a baiting mechanic, these guys are virtuosos. Very helpful ideas.

    Great video thanks.
Can you attach a sinker to that hook for casting or will that pull the hook at of place?

If it's secure. Design your own rig using the clever part of this. Another video the guy shows a top hook added after.

Hi there. I just want to find out if this is an effective bait for both shad and kob. Thank you

What would be the best bait to target those big kob? Chokka Blob bait, Whole Chokka on slide or Chokka combo with one of the following: Sardine, Redeye, Mackerel fillet, Bonnie fillet, Yellowtail fillet, Shad fillet, Prawn?

For BIG Kob, live bait & dropshot paddle tails. Big Shad fillet baits work well this time of the year on the South Coast as well as Shad bellies. In Souther Cape also have success on Octopus Legs

Nice presentation, but can I dip that same chokka & sardine bait into sardine oil for extra flavour.

Only if it not fresh bait otherwise I wouldn't.

Steenies to the left of Gordons by the small harbour and right of the last rocks at Strand, cob pretty much all over. Got some cob in the bay at Gordons and by blakes beach but the are all over there - look for a bit off breaking water after the SE
