    - I think the first, most basic consideration is the style or genre of records that will actually sell and worth messing with - the vast majority of records you'll find are basically worthless - easy listening, instrumentals, classical, show tunes, pop singers like Perry Como, Jim Nabors, Andy Williams, etc - I see antique malls filled with unknowable dealer's trying to sell overpriced junk just because they've heard that "records are coming back and worth money" - yea well, that type of music sure isn't coming back

I would totally agree. I try and stick with 1960,s 70's and 80's rock. Seems to be the best sellers for me. I try and list only VG or better. or I also sell a lot of bundles of the same. Its the stuff I grew up with and the stuff I know best.

There's really only 3 record conditions: Mint, Good, and Beat.
Generally, anything in the "VG" or under rating is Beat.

I'll NEVER understand a 'professional' record collector/seller putting their fingers on vinyl to remove it from a sleeve when that is almost never required to do so (as one can clearly see in the 'very good' portion of the video... makes me question the 'quality' of the seller.

I cn appreciate your comment and I was made aware of a rookie mistake. My trade is I am an estate liquidator. Records is a small part of what we do in the big picture. I appreciate your input and would like to here from you again. I appreciate. Never too old to learn something.

This guy is not a record collector, nor "professional" vinyl seller. He hoards and sells junk.

most of these answers are in the video. Look on ebay COMPLETED SALE. not just whats listed. that will give you your value. Ebay, Discogs or Facebook market place is best place to sell.

Anybody can sell Pink Floyd in Led Zeppelin records you act like those records are easy to find and they’re really notNot impossible but not easy you should make a video on records like classical folk that may be not so easy to get rid of but if I could get up and find zeppelin and Pink Floyd and all the classic rock records every day that would be a good day but I like your video

I agree with you. The biggest challenge is always where to find good records to sell. The rare ones you find are a nice scratch ticket find when you come across them but The ones that come to me tend to be 60,70 and 80's rock. I have the best luck because I can sell volume at a consistency that makes it worth it.... The hunt is half the fun.... Thanks for commenting. Hope to hear from you again.

As others have said, people shouldn’t be jumping to the conclusion that “if it’s a record, it’s worth lotsa money”. Not unless you have CLEAN AND MINT classic rock and jazz, folks! Everything else is in very weak territory. Be Warned!
