Not sure if you like this idea, but we have an acrylic desk chair. It takes up less eye space if that makes sense. We have two acrylic bar stools, an acrylic coffee table & two side tables as well. They are actually very comfortable and give the illusion of not taking up any floor space. We got everything off of Amazon. We always get compliments when people come over how good our space looks. So if you do decide to get a desk chair later, an acrylic one won't look cluttered in your space.

Your apartment is looking great. I think I would try to find a way to store the bike in my bedroom. Just a suggestion😊
Also, I don't know about her apartment complex but some apartments will rent out small storage units as low as $10 a month (like closet size or a little bigger). She could store her bike and maybe holiday decor etc...really keep the apartment open and airy.

Why do apartments put yellow lighting in?!? It drives me (and probably you) insane! We lived in an apartment once that had that awful yellow light. Fortunately, that will be easy for you to change. My lights are more yellow and its pulls strongly on video especially with my color correction! Once I save up a bit I can change out all the lightbulbs to fix it!

I've had both knees replaced. You're in for some long recovery time. It is slow and painful, but the end result is amazing. You'll be so happy when you're finally free from pain. I can climb stairs, work out, walk long distances, sit on the floor etc...stuff I couldn't do before I had my knees replaced. Just hang in there. ❤
