Nice to hear lots of positive feedbacks about this model. Driving it yourself and giving a personal opinion is the legit review for folks to rely on. Great content again today bruh!
The xr150 is simple, cheap and very capable, the crf250l is better in terms of performance but comes at a higher cost and if it is not used enough then the xr150 is a far better option, best of luck brother and stay safe on two wheels 🤲
I have a 125 Honda Monkey, so I’m hoping I can get another 5 mph out of the XR 150, but the main reason is I need bigger wheels for off road. That Monkey is trying to kill me, other then that I love it. Also, you feel for a 150 cc in the XR that it’s a strong 150, by the way you talked in your video?
Any chance you have tried the XR 190L? I’m guessing it’s similar to the 150 but with a bit more power and fuel injection but struggling to find a comparison video as it’s not sold in as many countries. Thanks
Hi Jim, the truth is, it is all dependent on how you ride it, tyres can last a tad over 6,000 though more road use will curtail that figure, clutch and chain replacement is the length of a string in other words if you ride it sensibly they can last into tens of thousands but if rough ridden then maybe 20,000km max
@@jimtan8872 if your 6,000 is off-road then you will get much more mileage, just look at the tread and see if it is still deep enough to give you good grip, I wouldn't change tyres after 3 months as the rubber is still fresh but would change if tyres get worn and the tread/pattern is dull and dropped in depth
Many Japanese bikes are made in China now, but one has to appreciate quality control is still under Japanese supervision. I push these 150 XR to there limit and they still keep going.
@@Bykersam That’s been my understanding also, that the quality control is spot on. I’ve never heard about any serious issues with the XR150L, but only have heard good news about reliability. I appreciate your input as I’m looking at getting into one of these small-sized dual sports in the next few years and the XR150 is at the top of the list. I want something that is affordable yet reliable and has a comfortable seat and is easy to work on. Thanks for your reply!
Honestly pinning it back at 100kph new is not advisable, even used or broken in, I would only suggest pushing over 90kph for overtakes and the occasional need for a little more speed. I hope this helps

@@Bykersam my pleasure 🤗
Got my 23 in dec. Love it
It truly is the best bike @150cc in my opinion, stay safe on 2 wheels 👍
Nice one Bykersam 😊
Thanks buddy, though I think your video editing skills are way better.
Great video.
It’s 150 cc plain and simple, if you want bigger, spend more and get it.
But it is a magical 150cc, I have big bikes but this has a charm of its own 👍

@@mikem9953 yes I speak in my videos, I have found the XR 150 to be a perfect match with power to weight ratio. It sure is a beauty of a bike
nyc bike hmmmm good job man ❤
Thank you

I haven't ridden that but I will try to seek one out in the coming months
@@Bykersam cheers, I’m hopefully picking one up in Mexico next week
Great video
Thank you
May I also ask, what is the interval for tires, clutch, chain replacement? Thank you very much.

@@Bykersam this is very helpful. I will order tyres soon then. 6000 km is like 3 months of fun.

Mashallah you Hv so much knowledge dear brother🙏😊♥️
Thank you baaj
How do you think the reliability and longevity of this Chinese-made Honda XR150l compares to the Chinese bikes you’ve ridden?

how its uphill performance....
low end torque???
It's pretty good, excellent for a 150cc buddy
I purchase this one, I have not take it back home yet. If I pin it at 100 kmph for 10 hours or more, will it be a problem?

@@Bykersam noted, cruising at 90 kmph then. This really helps with my iron butt ride planning. It is a 36 hour 25,000 km ride.
Great👍
