I can remember being about 12. And learning typing with a very very strict and grumpy typing teacher. I used to pray that there was such a thing as a braille keyboard for computers. I am in my 50's, and braille is my primary language. The day they made braille screen input for iPhones, I just burst into tears. At school I would carry my Perkins everywhere. At least it was good for defending myself. It's really heavy.
