I've been wanting to start my own online boutique too here in Texas. Do you think you could do a video of the first three steps to getting started? Like the name of boutique, how to get ein number, and where to get selling permit, etc?

Do you use quick books for tax purposes? How much do mark up the value on your clothing? What vendors do you use? Is it better to create your own website or to use Shopify or Etsy, etc? Can you please another detailed video?

BreezyThings it’s ok! I registered through the Secretary of State office for Texas. You’ll do the same for your state. Just make sure you have all of the requirements done before hand.

Awesome video. Question, what address did you use as your business address? I’m a bit confused on whether to use my local Ups physical address with private mailbox, or my home address. Wouldn’t wholesalers need to verify business address as an actual place of business if I have inventory? Or if I want to sign up as amazon seller, doesn’t my business need to be my home address since that is where I would be keeping inventory? I hope this question makes sense. Help.
Arlene Alvarez I use multiple addresses. For my customers and anyone who views my site I only use my PO Box. For vendors and anything that officially needs to come to me, I use my physical address. For government documents dealing with taxes and things of that nature, I use my registered agent.
Look into a virtual office place like Regus. For a monthly fee you get a business address that is a physical address as well as the ability to use their offices for meetings etc.

Great video! You are beautiful and your channel is so informative. When were you were forming your LLC, did you list yourself as the registered agent or did you use a professional service? If you listed yourself as the registered agent, were you able to not to use your personal address?
Erin B I used harbor compliance for my registered agent. I don’t recommend listing yourself because your public address will be known. Another option is to get a PO Box and request that USPS also give you a physical address with your PO Box address. For more help on this process visit your local post office. Hope that helps.

I know shipping varies but what's an estimate on how much to charge customers for shipping?
I base my shipping on how much USPS will charge me. I use shipstation.com so I get a deal on USPS priority mail. I usually have to pay $7-8 for 2 day shipping, so I charge my customers $5 and I add the $2-3 difference into the cost of the product.
@@NatalehNicole do you have a recommendation when completing application online. If your a single LLC should it be MGR, AP, or ABMR?
I know your website it tailored towards a different niche, but do you know a good place to start for vendors and items for baby/young girl ruffle clothing? I don't even know where to start to look..

Iaisha RealityShow you can get it online. The exact website depends on your state. Google Your States “Sellers Permit” & you should be able to find the website.
