i think you're wrong about family house when there is no cook. the purpose of a window jump is to avoid the cooks padlocks. so, if there is no cook, you're not gonna have many window jumps. don't put the trap outside and keep the upstairs blocked off. even if there is a window jump, keeping the upstairs blocked off is far more important since most of the time someone is going to be outside chasing the victim anyway. if cut off the fuse, the victims pretty much have no out. once they see family is camping car batt and gen, they go back inside to try fuse.

@@TheNemesis442 as what you're saying makes a lot of sense, you're missing a VERY key point. The window trap has to be placed there, because after the initial window break, you can no longer hear when victims are hopping out of the broken window, leaving you unsure if victims have gotten out that way later on. The trap serves as not only damage, but information if the window has already been broken.
I would rather have that window trapped at all times and be more vigilant of the fuse box.

@@TheNemesis442 also, if multiple victims are working together and one jumps the window, you'll be missing the trap damage, which means you'll be chasing a victim around outside for quite some time, especially if they have stunt double.
Then, if you have other victims coming behind them through the window, you'll never know because you're occupied with the initial window jumper (and no information from a trap) and this could cause mass chaos.

@@SgtMoosei hear in it my games most of the time, unless i'm chasing in basement. but, even if you don't hear window after its broken it doesn't even really matter. this is because once the window is broken or door opened, you'll typically have a family member outside already guarding the exits. if you don't have someone out there once the window has broken or door is open, you've already lost and trap isn't really relevant.

@@SgtMoose i agree you will miss out on trap damage, however if multiple victims are working together, they need someone to go for fuse. if no one goes for fuse, all of their work to get outside is a waste. it doesn't really matter how chaotic it gets outside the house, as long as fuse isn't done their efforts are wasted. all you need is for the family to guard the exists, and close off fuse - that is it. it wouldn't matter if 2 family member never even went inside the house. as long as fuse is guarded, you're gonna win.

@@SgtMoose i'm not opposed to be proven wrong, maybe test it out just to see how effective it is. i've found it to be more efficient when cook isn't playing. but to be fair, you'll really only have a 'no cook on FH' situation with randoms who may or may not no what they're doing anyway; and in that case you're probably gonna lose the match anyways if the victims are working together.
