Wow. I love that you expanded you skills and that knife sheath looks great.
Great video as usual 👌🏻
Super mooi en professioneel gedaan, Floris.
super netjes, en mooie tomos op de achtergrond.
Oak is a real pain to chisel XD the coarser grain really wants to split or dig in when you chisel. Very nicely done
Truly inspiring 🔥
awesome
What is the resin you use before applying the charcoal powder?
Thats looks greate man, good job bud !
Hello
What is this black powder? For the wood sheath?
Thanks
(My english very bad sorry) :)
patrik Antony I think it’s charcoal
what is the black powder?
that is ground charcoal. it is used for a cool texture on the saya
Saludos 👍👍👍
Hey Floris! You need to PPE (personal protection equipment) for avoiding breathing any more dust. Could you say what the black powder is and how it is made? A gnarly finish for your goodies and much creative skill!
the powder looks like coarse coal dust or powdered steel from grinding :)
Song artist please. Good work tho
It's a shame about the black powder at the end. Rest of it looked stunning though.
Beautiful work floris! I very much one day hope to own one of your pieces!
What kind of black powder? and what kind of glue?
Im wondering too..
you should have used horn, or something else, instead of copper, it might dull the knife if you put it in wrong,
I did it myself. I used Woodprix woodworking plans for this.
Not making it easy for yourself using ship-easily-oak :-)
We just don't even got to tell you how amazing it turned out it's just implied
I prefer to build with Woodprix plans.
Lovely, great work! 👍👍
Beautiful ✌️
Videolarını hayranlıkla izliyorum. Türkiye'den selamlar👍
blew my mind. Chef trying to learn woodworking skills. My honest opinion though, I didn't like the coal finish. All that work sanding the wood and the coal just covered it :(
Есть же заколки, ободки и резинки для волос. В крайнем случае можно узлом завязать или под головной убор засунуть. Тем более в таком месте работаешь: намотает куда-нибудь или могут загореться волосы. Это же не шутки!
The most satisfying knife-making channel which contains perfectly edited videos with nice and chill out music on the whole youtube. It's not overwhelms you with annoying slowmo's and similar background.
Floris. Great video.
Would you tell me what the black powder of the saya is?
Great attention to detail. I wonder what it would have looked like if you opted to sand the wood and the metal flush and applied a oil based sealant instead
Nice video. How do the tannins in the oak react with the knife being inside the saya?
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Anyone know whats the black stuff he puts?😍
Nice coal finish! Great work! 👍
Belo trabalho
Floris never disappoints!

Wow looks great with the copper 👌
Btw what's the black stuff you used on the sheath? Great job 👍
