“While serving in Minnesota, his military occupational specialties were 13B - a cannon crewmember who operates and maintains cannons and 13Z -field artillery senior sergeant,” according to a statement released by Army Lt. Col. Kristen Augé, the Minnesota National Guard’s state public affairs officer.
According to MPR News, Walz suffered some hearing impairment related to exposure to cannon booms during training over the years, and he underwent some corrective surgery to address it.
On Aug. 3, 2003, “Walz mobilized with the Minnesota National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery … to support Operation Enduring Freedom. The battalion supported security missions at various locations in Europe and Turkey. Governor Walz was stationed at Vicenza, Italy, during his deployment.” Augé stated. The deployment lasted about eight months.

When it comes to Walz's retirement timing, some time before a unit is put on official activation alert, the senior staff is usually given a heads up to start the palimony planning moves before the troops are alerted about the activation.
And NO, training troops to go to war is NOT the same as going to war. In a war, people are trying to kill you, but that's usually NOT the case while training troops. He SAID "those weapons of war that I carried in WAR", and that was a bald faced lie.

The M16/M4 is very different weapon compared to the variety of AR-15s that are sold to Citizens. In a lot of cases, they aren't even recognizable as the similar weapons. Three attributes that make both weapon similar is they have Safety and Semi-Auto fire selection, and they shoot very similar rounds. Semi-Auto isn't automatic fire, the shooter has to pull the trigger for each shot fired. For man who spent 24 years in the National Guard would know the main difference between them. He only called it AR-15 for votes to promote his Gun Control Narrative, so they could take away weapons from Citizens who follow the Law. I signed up for four years, got stop-loosed and did close to five years. I was deployed to israel in 2003 and iraq for 2005. Before Iraq, I passed the e-5 promotion board and attended PLDC which was needed at the time to promote. Since my MOS was being phased out and I didnt have the promotion points, I never got my stripes. So when I tell people about my service in the Army, I tell them I got out an e-4. I dont say, "well since i was holding an e-5 spot, passed the board and finished the school, i was an e-5." Nope. Tim Walz is a liar. Secondly, before my 2005 deployment, I had a buddy of mine who went to the medics and was diagnosed with sleep apnea which got him chaptered out of the army. He stayed outside base and when we all returned, he would tell people that he was out there with us. He was an effing liar and got checked for it. Democrats’ new running mate for presumptive presidential nominee Kamala Harris signed a bill last year allowing illegal immigrants to receive Minnesota driver’s licenses.
In March 2023, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed legislation allowing Minnesota residents to apply for and obtain standard state driver’s licenses regardless of immigration status.
“Ensuring drivers in our state are licensed and carry insurance makes the roads safer for all Minnesotans,” Walz said in a written statement at the time. “As a longtime supporter of this bill, I am proud to finally sign it into law, making our roads safer and moving us toward our goal of making Minnesota the best state to raise a family for everyone.”
Harris announced Tuesday that Walz is her pick for vice president going into the Democratic National Convention, which opens Aug. 19.
Minnesota is home to at least 81,000 illegal immigrants, according to the governor’s office, which touted the bill as a means to “increase safety across Minnesota by ensuring that all drivers are licensed, insured, and have taken driver’s education courses.”
Minnesota driver’s licenses don’t note immigration status on the physical card, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.

A driver's license is not proof of citizenship, but only residency. Some states stamp the card with a warning that the card does not prove citizenship status. States do offer a stricter level of proof on a specially marked State driver's license, or ID, called "real ID" by the US Government.
There is no harm in issuing driver's licenses, since, by law, they confer nothing except the right to operate certain motor vehicles, and help identify persons who have not earned that certification. A license is _not_ a naturalization card.
      What is the problem?

His military service shouldn't be the focus of his record. The focus should be on his performance as Governor of Minnesota. Allowing riots and the burning of businesses in a city and doing nothing about it. Putting tampons in Boys bathrooms in schools. That's the kind of nonsense that depicts his character as a Political leader and therefore unfit to be Vice-President of the United States. The simple fact that he wants to disarm the American People is a perfect example of someone that did not understand his OATH to defend the Constitution of the United States. He certainly does not understand the 2nd Amendment and that Amendment was placed there so we can protect ourselves from the likes of him.

At one time Walz was on track to become a Command Sergeant Major but he retired rather than go to war with his unit, so his permanent retirement rank was Master Sergeant, NOT Command Sergeant Major. He has been lying about that for years. I was once Company Gunny in a unit that suddenly lost its First Sergeant, and I was assigned the duties of "acting" First Sergeant temporarily until the new First Sergeant arrived. But that didn't make me an E-8, (First Sergeant), I was still an E-7, (Gunnery Sergeant), although the sign on my office read "First Sergeant". When the new First Sergeant arrived, I went back to my old job as Company Gunny. Even though I had performed the job of Company First Sergeant for a while before retirement, I never lied to people and claimed to be a retired First Sergeant.

He therefore was demoted to a Master Sargent, which was his rank at retirement. The Minnesota National Guard itself confirms this. “I spent 24 years in the National Guard, some of that full-time. I was an artilleryman. I deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My battalion provided base security throughout the European theater from Turkey to England in the early stages of the war in Afghanistan. And that same battalion is now in Iraq at this time,” Tim Walz said in 2007 on CSPAN. This is all easily verifiable as is the fact Tim Walz is a liar and a coward.

If it didn't happen while he was serving and it passed him, more power to hm as long as he did his service length honorably. Who wants to be in a combat zone with a month or to to DEROS?
