The M16/M4 is very different weapon compared to the variety of AR-15s that are sold to Citizens. In a lot of cases, they aren't even recognizable as the similar weapons. Three attributes that make both weapon similar is they have Safety and Semi-Auto fire selection, and they shoot very similar rounds. Semi-Auto isn't automatic fire, the shooter has to pull the trigger for each shot fired. For man who spent 24 years in the National Guard would know the main difference between them. Democrats’ new running mate for presumptive presidential nominee Kamala Harris signed a bill last year allowing illegal immigrants to receive Minnesota driver’s licenses. In March 2023, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed legislation allowing Minnesota residents to apply for and obtain standard state driver’s licenses regardless of immigration status. “Ensuring drivers in our state are licensed and carry insurance makes the roads safer for all Minnesotans,” Walz said in a written statement at the time. “As a longtime supporter of this bill, I am proud to finally sign it into law, making our roads safer and moving us toward our goal of making Minnesota the best state to raise a family for everyone.” Harris announced Tuesday that Walz is her pick for vice president going into the Democratic National Convention, which opens Aug. 19. Minnesota is home to at least 81,000 illegal immigrants, according to the governor’s office, which touted the bill as a means to “increase safety across Minnesota by ensuring that all drivers are licensed, insured, and have taken driver’s education courses.” Minnesota driver’s licenses don’t note immigration status on the physical card, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.

A driver's license is not proof of citizenship, but only residency. Some states stamp the card with a warning that the card does not prove citizenship status. States do offer a stricter level of proof on a specially marked State driver's license, or ID, called "real ID" by the US Government. There is no harm in issuing driver's licenses, since, by law, they confer nothing except the right to operate certain motor vehicles, and help identify persons who have not earned that certification. A license is _not_ a naturalization card. What is the problem?

Once again the news white washing the truth. I was in the military. Trying to play this game he got out 2 or 3 months before his unit deployed so he didn't manipulate getting out is BS. When we were going to be deployed we would generally know months ahead of time. Brass wanted to be sure we had time to get our affairs in order so we didn't abruptly leave things undone and when your in the national guard this is especially true because the weekend warriors have normal jobs and family life and all kinds of obligations that they just cant cut out on in a moments notice. So yes walz knew he would be deployed and he side skirted his way out of it.
He started the training requirement to pin on E9, showing intent to complete the course and make his promotion official. He dropped out of training why? He could still run for office while holding a guard/reserve position. Tulsi Gabbard did and deployed multiple times.

“As a longtime supporter of this bill, I am proud to finally sign it into law, making our roads safer and moving us toward our goal of making Minnesota the best state to raise a family for everyone.”
Harris announced Tuesday that Walz is her pick for vice president going into the Democratic National Convention, which opens Aug. 19.
Minnesota is home to at least 81,000 illegal immigrants, according to the governor’s office, which touted the bill as a means to “increase safety across Minnesota by ensuring that all drivers are licensed, insured, and have taken driver’s education courses.”
Minnesota driver’s licenses don’t note immigration status on the physical card, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The Gov does this all the time to trick idiot criminals, are you next going to complain about the IRS saying that we should report all income, illegal or otherwise? Because that's a thing as well. What's next, you gonna complain about police informants getting plea deals because they rat out their fellow criminals?
Big think...
Yep, when all that happen walz just assumed all these illegals knew everything there was to know about driving a vehicle. So why teach driver's ed???????
The roads, folks, just got a lot more dangerous. 12 to 15 million new drivers with really no experience like what most of our school districts teach for driver's ed. At least we got some basics and fundamentals in our Sophomore year of High School.
More states run by democrats are following California in the "motor Voter" automatic registration. They issue the DL and add your name to the voter registration. That IS the problem. They do not check.
His military service shouldn't be the focus of his record. The focus should be on his performance as Governor of Minnesota. Allowing riots and the burning of businesses in a city and doing nothing about it. Putting tampons in Boys bathrooms in schools.
