I have a old grandberg sharpener and it does a great job people will comment on how sharp my chains are I have a 511-AX Oregon grinder but I prefer the grandberg for my chainsaws I have 4 over the grinder I used the grinder for my firewood processor for 13 years but sold the firewood business in may of 2024 and the grandberg is over 44 years old I found it when I bought this property in 1980 did not know what it was for for 10 years glad I kept it. It is hand filing with a jig that holds the angles for you

Started using a 2 in 1 when they first came out. Been using it in the field and at the end of the day in the vise. Best tool I've found for my application and cutting frequency.

Yes sir !!! You would be surprised how many people don't know about it. I have to tell people about it every time I see someone new at the hardware store buying saws. Its a great tool

Have one in my saw case. Would NEVER start cutting trees or firewood without a can of 2 stroke fuel (home mixed), bar oil, that funny combination spark plug/screwdriver tool, and that sharpener. Great at touch ups or full on sharpening.
