Ayahuasca: past, present and future - Benki Piyãko Ashaninka - MappingMedicine

Benki shares reflections on the deep rooted connection of the Ashaninka people with ayahuasca. We learn from their ancestral beginnings and continuing relations with this forest medicine. The Ashaninka are worried about the purity of ayahuasca in times of global ayahuasca culture. Benki is an advocate of creating a counsel that can give guidelines and general standards in the use of the ayahuasca medicine in the world.
