Jay, this is the first interview I’ve seen you do. You were amazing. Great questions ( you can tell Bill appreciated the knowledge based intelligent questions) This is the second time I’ve seen Bill interviewed. I get the sense that he is a super fan, tempered with a good business sense. Really looking forward to MF. They did a great job of spoon feeding us the lore with each new character. It kept me really engaged, and I heard many others say the same. Thank so much for this interview.
Awesome interview, just one problem though, you may have cost me soooo much more money because I might need to buy even more of the Monster Force figures! Maybe a couple reindeer too... Gahhh! But seriously, seems like a really cool guy and a great toy company!
I so wanted that Halloween stuff I pre-ordered all of it and then I saw that it was gone and I'm like what the fuc so I wish they had worked out it looked so cool.
My Forgotten King order arrived today. I really enjoy that it glows in the dark. It has a very cool look. It’s pretty solid. I will be getting more items. I’m thrilled about some figures coming that have homage other characters. Tge General is awesome! Digging some of the prequel Crimson Moon. Still not sure how being invisible makes one a force when dealing with vampires and zombies with laser guns. But the figure looks cool. There are interesting characters and if the figures are made well it should sell well. I’m in pretty much for the Universal Monsters soldiers. Outside that, I’ll cherry pick.
I'm not sure I can sit through the whole thing, but I'd love to see some 6" scale indy & public domain heroes, specifically Black Terror & the GA Daredevil. I'd also love to see some Astro City or Hellboy related figures that scale with my Legends (Hey Todd, wish we could get DC in that scale).
Bill seems like a really chill guy. Makes me want to support FMF even more. I only have the barbarian santa so far but i have a bunch of monster force on PO and very interested in the solider of fortune line and crimson moon
Good interview with Bill Murphy.!! Nice job, Jay C...!! I'm glad Bill has such a 'story-telling' core to his approach to making the figures. I've liked some of the figures he's produced in the past... Longbox Heroes, ...Amazing Heroes... stuff. I will suggest to him about making action heroes, like the Amazing Heroes line, in size and scale of the popular Super Powers line. (with maybe a little more articulation.) I would think that would be Great for the fans... and I would think they should sell well for Bill.!! Maybe pre-orders would tell...!!
Noooo! Drop down hips suck. I was looking forward to this line because I didn't think that they had drop down hips. Is there any way that you could make a clicking system where they click in place and not wiggle around so much? Drop down hips get loose really easily. Drop down hips are really overrated. You really don't need them. You could use a rubber pelvis like jada toys and get even better movement.

The Halloween stuff just wasn't unique enough for me. It was just Santa's body with a pumpkin head.
